How in the hell it is possible to play first 40 f***ing spritless and phlegmatic hockey.
It is not enough to play only last 20 minutes because if your goal is to win something
you have to play FULL 60 minutes not 20 minutes.

This team was shittiest U18 WJC team since 2014 when Sweden embarressed us 0-10 in quarterfinal.
Lauri Merikivi is next example of that how Finnish hockey association hires only sauna-clubs kiss my ass inner circle members to junior national team coaching positions.

It is time to fire bozoz Lämsä and Merikivi and bann them for a lifetime of all coaching positions in Finnish hockey.

Congrats to Slovakia and now go kick those arrongant and cocky Swedes to Bronze game.

You haven't been following me very long if you think I am always after the Finns.

Just read the whole thread and you will get your answer on why I commented as I did today.

As for me Finland doesn't matter anymore because they are out of the tournament and my concentration is on the in progress Canada=Switzerland game, that's problems enough on it's own.

This U18 team Finnish individuals lacked
so much world-class elite NHL level talent as ever possible.
We had zero skill, zero talent, zero defense, zero offense, zero heart
and grit and zero toughness into own defensive zone and own net.

Our powerplay sucked asses so badly even Jukka Jalonen would've ashamed eyes off on his head.
Also our penalty killing was more peewee level than U18 WJC level.

Our jääkiekkoliito has gone back to nuori suomi coaching and player development model.
This was probably worst U18 WJC since 2014 when we lost U18 WJC quarterfinal vs Sweden 0-10.

So do you wanna still blame Vinni?
He's good and young promising goalie but he's not ready yet.
Next time if you know better you can dress your hockey gear
and go on the ice and show our U18 national team how to play.

Emil Vinni is under .900 everywhere this season.

He also is .878 in last 10 u18 games internationally.

You also are not objective at all, you just make excuses whenever a HIFK player plays terrible.

Mind, he was not the only reason they won but there was absolutely no basis to having him be ahead of Noa Vali in pecking order, as Vali has had far superior performance everywhere this season.

This Canadian team is a head scratcher to say the least, they will just make blind passes without even taking a look to see what the context on the ice is right to the opposing teams players all set and ready to break out of the zone in numbers.

It's amazing to behold.

Lets see if Switzerland can keep this pace up for the rest of the game. It would be worth it for Button staying pissed off on the broadcast alone.

Canada's very fortunate that Celebrini decided to not play in CHL which might have prevented him from participating. Without Celebrini, Canada could well be almost as bad as Finland.
 
Canada should get their travel agent on hold if they don't get their head out of their ass, this tom foolery has been going on in every single game and they need to get their shit together, it's not winning hockey they are playing.

Its been tough to watch since puck drop of Game 1. There's no cohesion and constant bonehead decisions with the puck. I also wasn't impressed with Truitt putting out the 4th line with tired Swiss players on the ice after an icing. This is an elimination game and that's a prime spot for your big guns.

Also, the media folk are saying Barlow was "rested" as a precaution. Again, this is an elimination game. Why is a top line player "resting"? The team wasn't playing great even with him in the lineup. It's baffling to me.

Celebrini has been the only bright spot for me. Far and away their best player, and it's not even remotely close.
