It's possible people just like cheering for an upstart underdog, rather than "hating" Russia? Unless, you were addressing some of the posts like the Siberia one.. I'd assume those people are just kidding. Similar to the comments about how the Canadian coaches will never work in hockey again after this, etc. that were being made during this whole tournament.
 
now hope From can score in OT with his speed, or somehow manage to kill 10 minutes and win a shootout against the Russians.

Russia 44 sec from a fiasko. They should consider themself lucky. But it also so typical russia only play when they feels like it.
 
I like underdog but I also like rooting for Russia because it'd be a huge shame to see them eliminated this early

Do the Danes have any energy left? A lot more open space in 4 on 4. Can't rely on congestion and deflections away from the net for 10 minutes. At least, I wouldn't think so. I also wouldn't have expected this to be in OT.
 
The other quartefinals will have to be incredible to beat this. Who would have thought.
 
Hopefully the younger Sevhnikov takes note of how bad his brother is now.

I missed the second period but it seems the shots on goal in the second period were 11-9 Russia, which is woeful. They're perfectly capable of completely dominating the shot count as they have demonstrated in the third.
 
Just chimed in, looks like we were close to a huge upset. Would have been quite hilarious if Denmark took it in regulation. Can't see them winning in OT or shootout.
