Definitely need some depth coming up. Thankfully Bombito and Cornelius have taken huge steps to make our starting backline (with Davies and AJ) really strong.

Great depth up front now.
Getting forward depth is massive. I watched Promise yesterday and he gets around the field very well for 6'5". He holds the ball up, he can make plays and he can shoot. On form, he's ahead of Jebbison but Jebb is still only 21 and adds to the depth of the pool.

I am at the point that I would use Johnston as cover for central defense over Waterman and Knight Lebel.

De Foug still isn't getting any time at Fulham and there is no way on earth Kamal should see a Canadian jersey again. We need Lebel and De Foug to keep progressing. Still young.

Laryea, Sigur and Ali Ahmed can cover right back.

Adekubge looked fantastic yesterday, playing at his proper position of LB and not wing back.

We have some wing depth although Koleosho would be a hell of an add. Probably the toughest one as I am sure he's waiting to see if he gets the call for Italy's qualifiers.

Goalkeeper as I outlined yesterday... developing problem.

Central Mid - still decent with Stach, Kone and Choiniere. Sigur and Saliba provide young depth. I would like to see what we do with Justin Smith. Any player that can get time for Espanyol has to be considered.

Getting pumped for the next window.

Few U17's but yeah.. that seems to be a comprehensive list. Koleosho will wait for that Italy call.

Looking at omissions - Ubgo, Cavallini (praise the gods) Liam Fraser (who I would take any day over Kaye and Piette but not a deal breaker). Piette a good servant.. Kaye should not be on a 90 player list.

Borjan's time is officially up.

Some young GK's missing but they could emerge at any time with progress.

Kaye being on the list was the single biggest surprise imo...

One to watch for the future - Emil Gazdov has moved from Pacific to Montreal.

He is 21 and has been an elite goalie for the CPL level. Hoping he can stick at the next level and continue his development.

We need to throw a thousand irons in the fire and find our future goalkeepers. Hoping for big things from him.

I see James Cameron is going from the CPL to Colorado of the MLS. Very versatile and hard working player. He would be in my 60 man over Kaye.

60 Man Squad for the Nations League final camp is out:

Adekugbe, Sam // Vancouver Whitecaps FC - off to a great start playing in a back 4. Lock.
Afrifa, Stephen // Sporting Kansas City - no real role with KC right now which is surprising. May be on the move.
Akinpelu, Promise // Royale Union Saint-Gilloise - Starting for USG and quite productive. He's also a quality penalty taker which would make him an excellent bench option anyway, but his productivity merits a call up right now.
Ali-Gayapersad, Andre // CF Damm - Not ready to be called on but future watch.
Ahmed, Ali // Vancouver Whitecaps FC - Uncertain start as Vancouver have him playing as a forward. Has been excellent in a Canadian jersey and is a versatile player.
Archange, Moise Clovis // Orlando City Academy - Future watch
Bair, Theo // AJ Auxerre - Spot starter and backup forward. Offers size, will come down to him and Tani for a spot in a 23 man.
Bassong, Zorhan // Sporting Kansas City - Seems to be back in the plans at KC. Has not really had a look under Marsch but this is a big year for him.
Bombito, Moïse // OGC Nice - Had one injury at Nice but has otherwise been tremendous.
Brault-Guillard, Zachary // FC Lugano - Can't seem to get a run of games for Lugano. Don't see him making the 23.
Brym, Charles-Andreas // Almere City FC - Move to Almere has seen his playing time and productivity increase. Still probably outside for the 23.
Buchanan, Tajon // Villarreal CF - Still trying to get his legs but will be in our team.
Choinière, Mathieu // Grasshopper Club Zurich - Injury bug has really hit. How fit will he be for this month?
Corbeanu, Theodor // Toronto FC - Nice to see him back in Canada but needs to have a big year. Won't be in the 23.
Cornelius, Derek // Olympique de Marseille - Has had to fight for his place and maybe hasn't played with the confidence he normally does for us, but he is a key player for Marseille and much more than that for us.
Crépeau, Maxime // Portland Timbers FC - Crepeau had a horrible debut for Portland and was unavailable last night with Pantemis picking up a clean sheet. Losing the job to Pantemis again this season would mean he has to move.
David, Jonathan // LOSC Lille - Ha - A machine for Lille. We need him to carry that across the water.
Davies, Alphonso // FC Bayern Munich - Back fit and looking really good for Bayern.
De Fougerolles, Luc // Fulham FC Academy - Unable to push through to get in matchday squads and hard to get info on his progress. Still expect to see him in the 23.
Edwards, Raheem // New York Red Bulls - Always liked Raheem going forward. He's depth at a position where we've had injuries.
Eustáquio, Stephen // FC Porto - Stach has been starting more with Gonzalez going to Man City and that is great news for him and for us.
Hiebert, Kyle // St. Louis CITY SC - A solid player for St Louis. There is nothing he does really well though so he's CB depth and outside the 23 if we are healthy.
Hoilett, Junior // Hibernian FC - One of my all time favorites. Playing a role on a team that has gone from the bottom of the table to third. He is on the bubble but he showed his worth last year when recalled.
Ivanisevic, Jovan // Bologna FC 1909 U20 - Future watch in a position we need prospects.
Jebbison, Daniel // Bournemouth FC - Let's face it... been two terrible years for him but the pedigree is there and we don't get him to sign up without getting him in.
Jimoh, Shola // York United FC - Very interesting prospect. Hopefully shows well in the CPL and then gets a move.
Johnston, Alistair // Celtic FC - One of the first on the team sheet.
Kaye, Mark-Anthony // San Jose Earthquakes - Bench role for SJ and if he ever dons a Canadian jersey again we have issues.
Kennedy, Scott // K.A.S. Eupen - It is hard to gauge his level in the Belgian 2nd but he would really only be emergency depth as a LCB.
Kerr, Deandre // Toronto FC - There is talent.. No place for him here right now.
Knight-Lebel, Jamie // Crewe Alexandra - Has generally had a solid season for Crewe. Would be great to see him recalled to Bristol next season and get in that team to continue progress. Expect him to be in the 23.
Koné, Ismaël // Stade Rennais FC - Move to Rennes has coincided with some excellent form for the team. He's been coming off the bench and will be in our 23.
Larin, Cyle // RCD Mallorca - Coming off the bench more lately for Mallorca but has had a solid season and is still a player we have to have. He still works the entire field, can create, can finish and provides awesome set piece defense.
Laryea, Richie // Toronto FC - Not many do more with less. Has proven to be a critical member of our team.
López, Santiago // Pumas UNAM - One of the first players off the bench this year for Pumas. Is an Osorio type with more finish. Not sure there is room in the 23 but there could be.
MacNaugton, Lukas // D.C. United - Similar to Hibbert but behind him.
Marshall-Rutty, Jakheele // CF Montréal - Way down the depth chart. Rough start to the season
McGill, Thomas // MK Dons FC - Has been the number 2 most weeks for Brighton and there has never been a better opportunity to change the pecking order in the National Team. He probably needs a permanent move.
McGraw, Zac // Portland Timbers FC - Deep depth, another that doesn't have any above average trait.
Michel, Dieu-Merci // Vitória de Guimarães -= This is a very, very interesting player who has yet to commit. Really grown in Portugal this year.
Miller, Kamal // Portland Timbers FC - A true team guy and may make it on that alone but his time should soon be up.
Nelson, Jayden // Vancouver Whitecaps FC - tremendous start and could break into the winger rotation. Might not be this month.
Oluwaseyi, Tani // Minnesota United FC - I see a player with zero confidence. Zero. Has all kinds of terrific traits including size and speed but it is not happening.
Osorio, Jonathan // Toronto FC - Will remain a key member of our team for another 2-4 years.
Pantemis, James // Portland Timbers FC - Doesn't seem to have a high ceiling but continues to push Crepeau out of a spot.
Paton, Harry // Motherwell FC - Very limited viewing for this depth CM in Scotland.
Piette, Samuel // CF Montréal - We all know the story here. Team guy and on the fringe.
Poku, Kwasi // R.W.D. Molenbeek - Season got derailed by a big injury but future potential remains.
Priso, Ralph // Vancouver Whitecaps FC - Big season for him and off to a good start. Won't be in the 23.
Russell-Rowe, Jacen // Columbus Crew - Marsch seemed to really sour on him but he's off to a great start. Not good start. Looks dynamic and has scored two straight weeks.
Saliba, Nathan // CF Montréal - I am high on Saliba as a future backup
Shaffelburg, Jacob // Nashville SC - Injured. Can he get back?
Sigur, Niko // HNK Hajduk Split - Has had a tremendous year for Split, playing three positions. There will be more to come from him. He's in the team.
Sirois, Jonathan // CF Montréal - Shot stopper that struggles with other aspects of keeping.
Smith, Justin // RCD Espanyol - Very intriguing player that has not suited up for us at Senior level.
St. Clair, Dayne // Minnesota United FC - Our number 1. Pretty clearly now..
Stewart-Baynes, Kimani // Colorado Rapids - Continues to develop with Colorado. I liked him for the U20's.
Świderski, Grégoire // Deportivo Alavés B - Landed in a decent spot, the Alaves reserves.
Thompson, Kosi // Toronto FC - Potential, needs to show something this year.
Waterman, Joel // CF Montréal - For better or worse, still our top reserve at CB.

Player notes on the 60.
