Was Sweden missing any skaters when they played Canada before the tournament? Because I was not impressed with that team, but they look so good now.

Not to my knowledge, but since then the coach has tightened the defensive play to an acceptable level, plus the team has more chemistry.

Some of us are aware, but not enough, not nearly enough...

Team Sweden won and Team Finland lost. No one of us was there playing. So, why would we even feel superior / inferior :)

I know, without indentification watching sport lacks feelings but it is the truth.

"Small" and "big brother" are part of the same dream too. :)

Edit: Maybe wrong forum though ... ;)

spot on. good night and till the next time.

..and can the Canadians handle the Danes and after that whoever they face in the semis if they do.

 I'd be all up for a Denmark-Slovakia game for semi-finals so 1 has a chance to win in finals, but there's like no chance of it happening with Canada bringing IMO its best roster since like 5 years ago.

For the people who watched the game, can you tell me how Nylander was? Did he get any points?

Sweden:
2 goals 5 vs 3
1 goal 5 vs 4
Even strength goals 3-2 to Finland.
Empty net.

But still Sweden was a better team. They won this game by power play, which is something else in this tournament.

You could just as well say that Sweden won by PK, which remains 100% in the tournament by the way.

Kemp falls under the PP category though since he is pretty much invisible outside of it. It's a one line team and special teams that has to do it for success.

Kempe plays solid all the time, what is he supposed to do? I mean he is great on the PP but he has been named player of the game one time already too. Man some of us expect significantly more out of one player then we do another.

Finnish team was so missing Teravainen's magic hands on #1 PP and Ristolainen's relentless attitude.

That terrible penalty call right before Honkas helmet penalty is what changed this game. I have no dog in this fight but I think Finland was the better 5on5 team and that called was awful. Swedens PP is awesome though. I just think the refs should let these kids play, that penalty pissed me off. Anyways, great game by both teams.

Finns. PP.. Unbelievable.

I more laughed than cried, it was so incredible... Anyway, it wasn't otherwise too bad, we took on all the major opponents and had quite even 5-5 play, but lacked the scorers, which is typical for Finland, of course, but this was really an extreme version. And the pp, I just don't know what to say...

i told you with husso we can´t win against sweden
3 goals in 4:09.....
from 1-0 to 1-3

Not sure if Söderström was in goal or not but other than that I think it was pretty much the same roster. Of course it good for the players to get used to the ice size and the overall teamplay other than that I guess the Canadians are simply better.
