So...Foote gets tossed for a hit which had WAY less head contact than that Honka hit (both should be clean, but in terms of IIHF rules Honka's was worse)
Then why didn't they push the Canadians around? Most of the big hits came from a player with a Maple leaf on their chest.
Well if we accept hitting from behind, then yes.way more physically imposing than the Finns or Canadians.
He cant, no slapshot in the toolbox and wrister is also hideous, therefore he passes. Why is Honka never ready to shoot on the powerplay?
The Canadians physically dominated the Americans on Boxing day and are objectively a far bigger team just by pure size. Hell the US has been getting it physically from the States so far. There just aren't that many physical players on this American team from what I can see. Supremely talented...but smaller.
Why haven't they done it yet then? All i said They don’t want to get into that type of game with the Americans. They’re capable of playing heavy and physical. Relax sport.
Dirty hits to injure apparrently!Americans have no answer to Finland's physical play.
Yeah, this is going to be a close game.
There are some warts in their game but Finland can't be unhappy with that period.
Not unhappy after so much PP?Yeah, this is going to be a close game.

Lulz. Finnish boys play against men that are alot stronger than NCAA kids. Besides they already did and manhandled the americans.Finns definitely don’t want to get involved with the US physically. They’d be destroyed.
Why haven't they done it yet then?
Lol whatAbsolutely correct
He should be tossed and suspended
I can't tell that either anymore then the "U.S will physically dominate" claim. You can tell Finns have played with adults and americans in junior leagues.
Yep, p.p didn't look great for sure, otherwise I like how they are playing so far though.6 PIMs wasted. They definitely have a lot to figure out during the intermission...
Very entertaining game thus farBoring game so far
