I feel like Czech doesn’t have enough hockey population to stay a strong hockey power like Sweden. They had some golden generation with a couple stars here and there but never enough to stay competitive for decades. Is hockey a top 3 sports in Czech?

Czech Republic have over twice as many registered hockey players as Sweden does, for whatever that’s worth (which probably isn’t a lot as the US has 10 times as many as Sweden).
