On my keister
Conventional wisdom gives this to Sweden. They're a stronger team and tend to have Finland's number more often than not.
But in those times where they do not have that number, it's often for the dumbest of reasons. Today could be one of those days.

Unlikely, but...

Watched the highlights from that game again. Jesus christ the defensive coaching under popovic made all stars look like under 18 players no structure at all. Lundquist at 37 should’ve never been the starter. There’s also a direct correlation between Loui Erikssons ice time and Swedens performance. Dear god so many bad coaching decisions..

Translation?
"Sweden have one of the best teams in World Cup history. So beautiful and the joy of playing shines all the way to Alahärmä. A sure master."

That was five years ago. A lot of those players were not in their primes. This team Sweden is better and will dominate Finland.
This and the D-men in the 2019 team was not good, while this teams have the best D-men of the tournament. I'm not the least worried. Finland will get smashed biggly tonight.

Yup. No team over there can even come close to this Sweden club. That’s pretty close to their best possible team.

I have a feeling we losing this game, it will hurt but atleast we have won the tourney many times before.
No it would absolutely not be okay to lose this game in any way shape or form considering the massive talent gap. Sweden might lose but it’s not okay.

I know we are not Finland but still we should not let this slip. It's an easy gold with shit opposition.

some other NHL'ers and our best European players

Like from our best-on-best roster this team has 2 players, Granlund & Määttä.

The talent gap is massive and it would be one of the biggest surprises in the tournament if we manage to win.

You mean one?

For us its 10

Hedman
Brodin
Karlsson
Dahlin
Raymond
Eriksson Ek
Kempe
Ersson/Gustafsson

And Landeskog, if healthy
Possibly Carlsson and Eklund. Also Zetterlund is a dark horse to crack a best on best. So versatile.

Well, at least we're going to this as the total underdog, i have no expectations of a win, so i can only get positively surprised.

Well then, seeing as the joy of playing shines all the way to Alahärmä, we've got nothing to worry about.

Hedman - Ekholm
Dahlin - Andersson
Forsling - Karlsson
