You are right. I love the fact that they battle out there. But they are still able to smile, laugh, and have fun.

They have faced each others (been teammates) for years at the national levels (some also at the University level and the previous post-school leagues) a lot more than men since quality female players aren't as numerous (yet).

This league started with some pre-made rivalries, and then the players association asked to play with (some) contact...

They have wanted to crunch/punch each others for a long time.
