No, fighting is not allowed.... Is fighting allowed??
No kidding! It's been pretty physical so far this season and the refs have been very lenient at times. Lots of feistiness. No, fighting is not allowed.
But it will happen the way the girls have been chirping each others all over the league.
I wonder if they lace their proper skates for the 3rd (I imagine they made it too?) or if that would be a bad idea at this point. I used to get blisters bad.NY's equipment arrived mid game and they now have their own sticks.
Since the first game.Montréal is taking the body
The refs haven't been good tonight. Why wasn't that a hooking call?
yeah they do let a lot of small hooks and grabs go, that one was rather obvious… old school lol refs setting the tolerance… They don’t like hits after the puck is gone though. Why wasn't that a hooking call?
It was well deserved, but should have been called interference. It was a fine hit, but it was late and puck was gone.David goes boom! But called for roughing.
They are suppose to allow separating another player from the puck that isn't open ice hitting or pinning along the boards. Obviously everything is up to the referee's discretionyeah they do let a lot of small hooks and grabs go, that one was rather obvious… old school lol refs setting the tolerance… They don’t like hits after the puck is gone though.

Ah ok I didn't know that nuance. I guess by their rulebook it might be a roughing call then.Yea under normal circumstances, that's a good hit. But in the PWHL, it's not allowed. You're allowed to hit a player to separate them from the puck. But in this case, the puck wasn't on the NY player's stick anymore.
Also I wrote David, but it was Tabin.
