I didn't like his initial deal with Jersey. Gave up a quality top six power forward for secondary prospect assets. Thought he needed a higher quality return from Jersey's prospect pool. But he's really starting to cook. His plan, which wasn't clear early on, is now in place and building around the three foundational pillars for franchise success. Alway liked Mike Grier ... but not a Sharks fan..He got paid to take on useful depth pieces too. Really making a lot of smart moves lately. I am thinking a lot of his early GM struggles were just favors to long time Sharks vets now.
