Yep as expected, can’t even pay him a compliment when he’s due.

You guys need to see a therapist or something because a normal person would not have this sort of negativity about an athlete.

Plus the ad hominem attack on me too. Especially around the holidays too. All I’m gonna say is if you act like Scrooge you’re gonna get your just desserts.
Lol.

Sure, but where a club is in the standings doesn't always reflect on how much of a challenge they are for a goalie. Bruins are one of the worst scoring clubs in the league which might surprise some people. Sharks have a lot of up and coming players will filthy talent that can shoot and score and even vets like Toffoli that can.

Can't agree either that we saw Pickard throw a puck into his slot from behind his net or make 5 bad passing plays to his D like Skinner did last game. You have to watch more than just the GA but the miscues and mistakes a goalie is making. Pickard was beat on one shot he should've had tonight but Skinner would've let in that rip off the post too. Pickard also made some spectacular stops in the game Skiins likely doesn't have.

The B’s still have Pasta and Marchand. They’re not exactly the least talented team. Plus a lot of teams will have random young guys with good shots too, Wahlstrom being a good example.

I agree to an extent. I think the lack of puck playing miscues with Picks is likely due to him playing the puck less overall than Skinner. Less puck movement, less mistakes. If Skinner took a page out of his book we’d probably be less stressed with him between the pipes.

WE can unload Skinner. I'd be more worried that we're stuck with 8M bucks worth of Arvid. He played better today, but really I don't even know how many games he can go anymore. Skinner gives a bad club a bit of offense and can be in topsix and PP, on a bad club.
I have a feeling Arvidsson is going to be a LTIR stash in the coming years.

For some reason I still have patience for arvi. Because I know what he can be. But that confidence is fading fast

He made a couple nice plays tonight. Sent Henrique in all alone but he was stopped on the backhand. Also gave Draisaitl his best look of the night with a nice pass through the slot but Draisaitl sent the puck through the crease instead of hitting the empty net.

Especially on a night he didn’t even play. Exciting game with some good saves made by both goaltenders on the ice, and people want to talk about Stuart Skinner? If Skinner is in your head that badly, you might be doing the whole ‘fan’ thing incorrectly.

Was very entertaining game to watch. Seemed like an afternoon game. How could people not enjoy that one. I will far too much panic in GDT.

But the worst, what kind of fan in attendance boos their own club? Some losers in the crowd tonight booing the Oilers, booing Bouchard and booing Pickard who wasn't the problem in the game.

Never boo a home team or its players when they play like this, and all the fans that did got to see the team win anyway.

Solid effort by the club and they never give up and they never stop trying. Some of y'all are spoiled. What reason is there, really, to be booing this club.

I was at the game tonight and didn't hear any booing besides the missed calls. Was it coming through on TV?

In my section there might have been a smattering in that segment where the Oilers cycled it high for a minute and didn't end up shooting the puck but it wasn't all that noticeable.

He's not facing much in those game and NEVER anything like the Oilers mount for chances and shots. A hard day for Skinner is 20 shots, making routine saves any good goalie should make and watching his D and forwards clean up all the pucks he leaves laying around.
Good thing that all that really matters is the end result. And the end result is GA.

Also it’s not Skinners fault his team is shot and possession dominant. It’s actually the main reason Skinner has a job here. Cause if we were a shit team like the Rags we couldn’t get away with a sub $3M average goalie.

For scoring its basically all they have. I'm not making up anything. 26 clubs have more G/G than the Bruins have.

Wahlstroms a scorer now? C'mon, you're proving my point.

cheers

Yup. The 4x2 for Arvidsson is a far bigger problem than the 1x3 for Jeff Skinner.

Nice to pull that win out. Games like that can be so frustrating when you lose. Was insane they couldn't get that second one past Askarov until the final seconds. And he almost stopped that one too.

That second goal by Pickard was inexcusable to give up. So sick of the almost nightly bad goal against per game.

I am out and about, but I took the time to copy and paste Rejeans rant

####ing team horseshoe!! I hate those mother####ing pricks!!!

Now those lucky pricks will win it in OT. That team can't start to fall apart fast enough for my liking.

That piece of #### 2 man team irritates the #### out of me. The team their fans and their media can all #### right off!!!

---------------
Sounds like me crying about the goaltending...heh
I hope ReJean is close to Foothills so the ambulance can get him to medical attention when the inevitable stroke/coronary occurs. I seriously do.
