well another loss coming up. Atleast they are getting shots to the net even though its from the pt most of the time

Not thrilled with the preseason but it doesn't count so I will keep telling myself it doesn't matter till its a regular season game:laugh:

No one "clears the crease" these days. Best you can hope for is to tie up a players stick. Clearing the crease is a relic of the old rules.
 
Good 1st period, we're dominating possession. 17-8 in shots.

Since it is the pre-season I don't care particularly much about the score. 1 goalie interference and 1 softie doesn't a bad period make.

I was looking at a bad feed but what I saw was a Ranger player cross checking one of the Canuck players into the other, the second fell onto Hank.

Trying to clear the crease, just not doing a good job of it.

Can't say I'm unhappy as a Canucks fan.:naughty:

I'm just here to see how you guys think of how AV is running the bench.

I supported him for years in Vancouver but thought his time there was done.

I think he will do good in the city named twice.

Great first period imo.

Couldn't care less about the score. It doesn't count. Team looks good.
 
would really like this team to protect their goalie. if vancouver feels confident skating into the crease, imagine how boston or philly will behave.
 
Pouliot just said we are playing well but just not getting luck, and its just the preseason. Can we crucify him on here for saying something so ridiculous?
 
As I said I do like Nash/Brassard line and I like Richards/Zucc....

Boyle is going to drag down any line he is on offensively. I'm curious how this is all going to shakedown when Stepan is inserted back in the lineup.

LOL you guys are hilarious... good to see you all expecting the worst for the upcoming season. Did you expect us to lead the East again? I sure didn't... I'm just expecting a low playoff spot which is realistic IMO.

The team doesn't even look bad tonight. We outplayed the Nucks for most of the first period and we would only be losing by one goal if the refs called goaltender interference on that first one (which would've been the correct call). It is what it is... bad luck and a bad goal on a sinker by Hank.

Look at the positives... the team is making some nice passes: Nash made a great play to Pouliot who made a great pass to Brass. Even Richards made a nice play in the neutral zone with the quick-stop and then pass.

The team at least looks entertaining and that's all I care about right now. As long as they're entertaining to watch and are above .500 this season then I'll be happy.
