Doesn't mean you can't push and pull. Depending on the refs a healthy crosscheck to the back is also a good tool.

No one "clears the crease" these days. Best you can hope for is to tie up a players stick. Clearing the crease is a relic of the old rules.

********. i expect my defenseman to crosscheck the **** out of forward in thr crease and if he doesnt get out of the way he better start hacking at his knees and ankles.

Is this team playing poorly in this preseason? Yes.

Is this a bad team? Not even close.

Once the season starts this team will pull it together, but until then I just wish they would give me a ****ing reason to cheer.

The only thing I can really give as a criticism in that period is that the defensive coverage seems very disorganized

Really to be expected in a lot of ways, they're transitioning to a defensive system that has more puck pressure which means players are going to be moving around more and there has to be cohesion with your linemates and guys rotating correctly. Doesn't happen overnight

The team is playing well. It's just ****ing ass annoying to be doing everyting right and be down goals because of intereference, below average results from refs, PP bounce, bad goal given up by Henrik, Luongo suddenly playing well.

Being a Vancouverite, it's ****ing annoy for me.

Lundqvist dragging us to the playoffs by our balls is the only difference I see between now and the dark ages. Its certainly not Mike Dunham giving up 300 foot rebounds, I admire that.

Dunham was so horrifyingly bad, I was actively rooting for Jussi Markkanen to take his job. Nobody should ever root for Jussi Markkanen to take anybody's job.
