[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

It's just a matter of a lost coverage here and there. That's the part of exhibition games.
We just gotta iron things out so we're good to go on October 3rd.
- Dan Girardi

We've worked on a lot of little things. We just have to clean it up on the ice and move forward.
- Martin Biron

I'm liking a lot of the things I'm seeing, but some players are falling behind a little bit as far the pace and the step of the NHL goes.
- Alain Vigneault

I can't wait till the Canucks score the first goal and 800 threads pop up talking about how Vancouver won the swap :sarcasm:

4am start. I'll wait for the lineup to see if it resembles what could be the opening day lineup before I decide to stay (or get) up for this one.

Good thing about the lockout/shortened season was the absence of late starts.

Nice GDT, much better than ours :naughty:

Seriously, it will be fun to check out the Rangers this season and see how the swap works out for the both teams.

Really wanted to watch this whole game, but going to have to call it quits early tonight to go to sleep for work on Friday :(

Same. West coast trip sucks for the working man. Edit: And it makes me have a lot of respect for the European fans staying up til who knows when to watch this team. That is dedication and since its the Rangers I would call it insanity. :sarcasm:

Guessing the gameplan should be let the points rip all night Krug-style?

West Coast games are actually good. Get up at 4am, go to work at 7am/get back to bed. Much better than a game from 1am till 4am.

Way too early to come to any conclusions on who won the coaching swap, but that's exactly what will happen after the 1st period. May have to stay out of this GDT.

more like off the internet entirely. the whole fanbase will explode if we lose this game :)

funny if both teams dress the real roster

it will be funny if something happens during the game and both coaches are arguing about the play while Pierre watches Between The Benches.. oh wait gotta get ready to see Pierre again on NBC Sports Network... and sadly Mike Milbury :help:

This was a joke I feel players should get as much as they can.I was merely noting the tone in the Stepan thread

My bad. See, that's the thing with this board, something like that SHOULD be easily seen as sarcasm, but, it's just so prevalent that it's impossible to decipher tounge-in-cheek from sensationalism.
