Didn't even realize Kakko was playing, he is so invisible. Hate to say it, but Hughes looked 10x better then Kakko has. Everyone saying Kakko would be the better player this year then Hughes, but doesn't look like he is even in the same league as Hughes.

Brendan Smith is a weird case. His skating is fine. It was terrible in year 1 of the contract but last year and this season he’s clearly in shape. But his game has gotten so bad. He’s not slower than he was during that last season before his contract. Not now at least. I just don’t know how his mental game deteriorated so badly

Lemieux has a white stick which blends in with the ice, makes it look like he is without a stick. Are white sticks allowed? I don't think I ever seen this before. Also must take his teammates an extra second to see where his stick is when passing to him.

The one thing I miss about Hagelin is that if someone was having an off night you could put them with him as he kinda seemed to bring some energy to a line. I feel Kakko could use someone like that, not Hagelin but someone who drags him along.

Nieves Lettieri both need to be done in this organization. They just are tired Tweeners. Aren’t going to help us. I hope they both get claimed I’m tired of looking at them both

Nieves is fine as a 13F/4th liner, and has played fine in that role. Lettieri has to show more than he has this preseason.
