Brendan Smith is a weird case. His skating is fine. It was terrible in year 1 of the contract but last year and this season he’s clearly in shape. But his game has gotten so bad. He’s not slower than he was during that last season before his contract. Not now at least. I just don’t know how his mental game deteriorated so badly
