Just got back home from the game... not sure how it looked on TV, but Lias, Lemmy, Zbad, ADA and Hank were amazing tonight. ADA had some expected mistakes. but was oozing skill and determination. Hank is motivated, and Lias deserves a spot on the team for not only his effort, but those skills that we rarely notice that are so apparent. Kakko and Kratzov had flashes, but I realized they really need to be nurtured into this league rather than thrown in. A lot of work with them both to do done.

Edit: I wasn't clear on what I liked about Lias, but I wanted to point out that he had a lot of great defensive plays, especially deep in our zone and behind the net, and was showing the ability to carry the puck up the ice a few times. He made smart plays in the neutral zone and dumped and chased when he had to. I came into this game thinking he should center the top line in Hartford with Kratzov, but after seeing it live, I feel he should at least be practicing with the team if not playing in games as the 3rd line center. Definitely better than Howden from what I've seen in the preseason.

Trouba is starting to look a lot better to me.

Idk what's up with NST, but this how the shots looked halfway through the game, and the Flyers had like 2 shots on goal in the 3rd.

I think it’s safe the say that both teams did a freaking fantastic job of preventing those neutral zone shots tonight.

these preseason games are looking pretty ugly. I definitely think there's going to be some learning curve/growing pains with these kids as we can see, but things might also look better after the team is decided and dedicated lines can get some more practice. A lot of poor support of teammates in tonights game.

Chytil started pretty blah but had some better plays later in the game. I still feel like he manages to be more visible playing center and looks a little more confused playing wing.

Kravtsov makes a few too many "soft" plays that I think would fly better on bigger ice and he'll have to improve on that a bit with the faster pace of the NHL. He got going a bit towards the end but looked like he struggled for awhile before then. Again though it feels like a lot of missed support of teammates, guys not knowing where each other are, etc. Same with Kakko to a degree. Need all 5 guys on the same page

ADA looked good, so did Hank. I also think Hajek looks mostly good and FOx has looked good so hopefully those guys who are a bit older can step in and make more of an impact.

Strome really doesn't suck. He scored nearly 20 goals last year as a 3rd/4th line guy. He just isn't a second line center.

He shot over 20%. How many times do we need to see this happen?
