Yep much better than the Friday disaster of a lineup I witnessed in Newark.
Should be fun to watch the two youngsters get a chance to play with zibby. Maybe build up Chytil’s confidence if nothing else. Kravtsov will probably start in Hartford

Looking at our schedule I wouldnt be surprised if more kids were sent to the minors atleast for the first 3 weeks where we only play 5 Nhl games. A guy like Kravtsov trying to adjust to North America might be better playing more in Hartford than sporadically in NY. Just something I was thinking.

Quinn is giving Smith every opportunity to look good and make the team. Skjei is coming off what might have been his best game of the preseason.

Because its pre-season and now is the time to try as much as possible.
What I don't understand is why Smith is getting another shot. His stick is where offense goes to die. He makes current Marc Staal look like prime Bobby Orr offensively.
Going to the game tonight. I hope mika scores, he and vladdy are always so snake bitten in the beginning, but its preseason so who cares. Im excited to see lord and savior again tho!

Hey, flyers fan here. What intriguing players should I keep an eye on? Also what is the opinion on namestnikov away from kucherov? Is he worth resigning?

It's become pretty clear in their year apart that Namestnikov was carrying Kucherov all along.

Kakko and Kravtsov, naturally. They are our best forward prospects. The first line is not going to be what it will be in the regular season, but it'll be a fun line to look at. Our second line will likely be the same come opening night.
Libor Hajek has been an intriguing prospect so far. He was playing a lot with Fox, but probably now getting a shot on the top pairing so he can showcase a bit. Had a great 5-game stint at the end of last season but got injured.
Quite clearly a passenger to Kucherov. Probably not worth re-signing for the production he puts out, but he definitely has his moments.

And I love Namestnikov, highest hockey IQ in the game. He makes futuristic plays that aren’t appreciated through the lens of the modern day hockey fan, but one day when stats become advanced enough they’ll be able to pin down exactly what it was that made Namestnikov so special.
