It's disappointing but it might get better once the lines get locked and train a bit more together.

They trained together, they just didn't play a game together for whatever reason.

I'm also a little baffled at the lack of effort from the guys trying to make an Nhl team. Right now the only guys giving anything are Lias, Skjei, Trouba, ADA, Hajek, Namestnicov, Strome and Mika. Out of that group there is only one bubble guy. I'm baffled by Kakko, Chytil and Kravtsov.

The Kreider Strome Chytil trio didn’t see the ice after that change was made so don’t think Chytil was hurt.

I honestly have no idea what Quinn is doing nor why he thinks chemistry outside of the top line is not important in training camp.

Excluding Hajek, Lias and Hank, they all suck.

Skjei and Tony D have looked pretty good on defence.
Lemeiux and Names have also been ok (that's been a good line with Lias)

I think the refs are trying to set the tone, everyone is getting the boot.

Losing all of his puck battles doesn't have much to do with line combinations. It's man versus man. I'll be surprised if he doesn't start winning those battles pretty soon no matter who he plays with.

After watching today the last thing I'd say is "weak on the boards". He's won quite a few defensive and offensive zone board battles. One of which let to his goal.

I don't think he's lost them all tonight. And definitely not in previous games. But yeah he's not playing the game he wants to play, and thats because he's never played in the NHL before and a handful of games on the small ice

Yep. It's like last year or whenever it was when they started enforcing face-off rules and everyone was getting delay of game penalties.

His salary isnt out of line with his abilities. We wouldnt have Ada or Anderson without the trade, it has worked out for us but if I was offered Stepan for any combo of Staal, Smith, Namestnicov, Strome, Fast, to make salary room I'd do it in a heartbeat.
