The Rangers have been lacking in Right Handed shots...and Miller & Zuuc have been the 2 guys to consistently play their off-wing for the team. Nash on occassion, as well.

Miller has spent a lot of time on Hayes' Right side.

He simply didn't and you haven't shown anything to say the contrary. Here is an article written this off-season that states he played a majority of his time on the LW.

Actually the heat graph shows shot rates and it would make sense that Miller is on the right side because he doesn't shoot much.

Grabner played RW when with JT and Hayes, and after that line ended Grabner moved to LW with Fast at RW.

You're completely wrong. Grabs played LW and Miller played RW. I don't know what else to say.

I hope Chytil makes the team. He's the only reason for hope and excitement in this wasteland of a season we're about to endure.

Good thing is, he'll be a prime player when they piece of **** behind the bench is gone.

If Grabner is in the top 9 instead of Chytil, AV deserves a lot of criticism. Put him with Miller and Zuccarello, Nash to the third line with Hayes and Vesey.

I kind of like that defense though. Pair Skjei on McDonagh's right side, thats our shutdown pair. Pair a vet with a rookie on the other two, Graves and Shatty, Smith and DeAngelo. Staal in the press box, trade Holden. Rotate pairings two and three with ice time based on how they are playing. No obvious hierarchy right now between those two pairings.

Imagine making connections between preseason and what you've seen for the last 200+ meaningful games and realizing it's the same thing with an overhauled roster.

I wouldn't get so frustrated this early. We don't know who's playing with who, we've yet to ice a full lineup. Remember 13-14 took everyone some time to adjust, but when we found our footing we were excellent possession wise. Even tonight we were much better over the back half than the front.

I put him on the 4th for the simple reason of playing less minutes and easing him into a bigger role when he's ready

I hope you're right. I've just really had it with this coach and his passive garbage.

Playing not to lose leads to losing. That's a universal truth in this league, no matter what you think goes into building a good team.

Yep, no offense...but I'm going to be stubborn. I'm not researching it. J.T. has been a go-to RW for the Rangers.

The issue is not that Miller shouldn't be on RW. The issue is that Miller with Hayes is a disaster in the making. Miller is much better away from Hayes. As much as Zucc looks good with Chytil, much like Kreider, Zucc looks good with a lot of players. From what I saw briefly of the other night, the combination of Miller/Chytil/Buch looked good. Buch also looks good with Kreider and Zib. So, perhaps, what would best for the lineup overall is giving Hayes Zucc, since since he is good enough to not be dragged down by Hayes.
