Crunch had so many good opportunities. Outplayed a vast majority of the game except a few minutes in the 3rd. Defense needs to really tighten up, Syracuse with possession of the puck is too quick and moves the puck very fast. Seems like they can get them in transition back though, so we'll see,

Is Clode coaching? Outshot them 36-25 (36-23 sans ENG), outscored 3-6 (3-4 sans ENG). Same old story. Stop shooting from anywhere and everywhere, I guess.

That Vermin kid had better develop into a pest

Senyshyn had a couple of real nice flashes- seemed to settle into his game after a tentative first period.

Heinen looks miles ahead of where his game was a couple months ago - he was active and beating players to and off the puck.

Syracuse played a more tightly wound team game, but Providence was more dynamic.

Did you really like the way Heinen played?

I was at the game and tried to notice him. He wasn't very good at all in my opinion. Floating a lot, not quite fast enough, but crafty and made the right passes.

Zane gave up a bad 4th goal that one was all on him.

Loved the way Debrusk played, literally created 3 half breakaways for himself. Senyshen showed off his speed too.

It's one game that I've seen, but Debrusk is ready for the big show imo.

All around flat performance. They did the deal from earlier in the season when they show up late to make things interesting. Refs were putting the whistle away so I was confused as to why they weren't anywhere near as physical as they had been with Hershey and WBS. It's just one game but Syracuse has a good mix of guys like we do so they're going to be a tough out.

Didn't have a great game last night but there was way more float in his game earlier in the year - last night there was at least a willingness to make something happen rather than waiting for a puck to find him. But we missed most of the first period.

Heinen looked like a more polished version of what we saw in boston.

Senyshyn looked ok, a little overwhelmed, had one really nice chance. Drove to the outside then cut to the net.

DeBrusk will be in boston next year. He looks bigger, faster(senyshyn is faster, didn't play it) and more skilled than the other young wingers.

p broons look like a team out of gas

I'm on blue line by glass and they look pretty good

Senyshyn may be a low hockey IQ ghost according to the HF Jimmy Johns Nation but can he skate - like what I've seen as limited as is

Heinen been very good as has Grzelcyk

Blidh brings it

Double take moment seeing Stevie Y talking up to another Eastern team scout outside section 110

Heinen with assists on both goals --the guy is playing himself into top (wing) prospect status and the first kick at the can next year.

"Grizz" has just 3pts (0 goals) in 15 games? Yikes.

Ridiculous that JFK isn't on this team --hope those 7mins were worth it. Hopefully Gabrielle is back healthy and in action soon.

I've seen a few baby b games this year in person and tonight was my second playoff game. Heinen just hasn't done much for me and I would be debrusk ahead of him. Maybe it is because heinen avoids physical play....he just doesn't do anything special for me. One point tonight really stood out for me with debrusk - coming across ice to protect a teammate after the whistle and grabbing a crunch player (bordering on roughing). Love seeing that side of his game

Grizz is barely noticeable out there.

I know Peter Mueller doesn't even have a contract with boston, but he flies around like a mad man out there. Fun style of play to watch

First time seeing senyshyn tonight. Wasn't afraid to get in the dirty areas. One thing that struck me was how big he looks out there. Not the biggest guy, but he definitely doesn't look small either. Fitzgerald on the other hand looks like a shrimp

Ridiculous, he could have been an upgrade over Fitzgerald and got some great experience. Oh well, he'll be in Providence next year most likely.

Breakaway showed the jets

He's definitely fast, hopefully he starts showing some finish.

Heinen is pretty unreal. I've been sold on Debrusk now for awhile but it looks like Heinen could easily make the team next year as well.
