Only for the guys we draft who won it
Knak is still young and is playing in arguably the 2nd best mens league in the world..Let him cookHow is Knak doing lmao
I'm not an astute college hockey informant but in the composite top 25 rankings for College Hockey I have seen Penn State made the top 25 in only one poll in the past week.Who are his teammates? Like is there any other big names that are helping to drive his numbers or is it just him? He is one of three drafted players (McLane and Laubauch). There are 3 players at .96 points per game - 1 Fr, 1Jr, 1Gr and Fink at 1.23 point per game. Just wonder if any chance some of these guys snag a contract after they graduate
So it seems like he is driving play and creating opportunities/rebounds for his linemates. I like itI'm not an astute college hockey informant but in the composite top 25 rankings for College Hockey I have seen Penn State made the top 25 in only one poll in the past week.
I haven't been able to watch any Penn State Hockey games this year but I do follow their instagram where they show highlights and most of Finks goals seem to come from the Ride Slot within 10 feet either from cycling or off a rush. Additionally it looks like a decent amount of his assists come from his line mates burying rebounds.
Additionally the other top scoring Penn State Guys (with over 20 pts) are all between 20-23 and are under a point per game which suggests he is not really riding the coattails of elite forwards and has less support than like some of the guys on BC/BU.
I doubt that very much. As much as it has been a fantastic freshman season for Fink, the main thing that he needs is simply strength. And being in college is the perfect place to work on that. He has the skating, the shot, the energy, the IQ... but he's going to need to get stronger. Given he won't be tall, he'll have to build some of that fire-hydrant style lower body strength, and the lighter schedule in college will give him the best environment for spending more time in the gym and eating better. Rushing into the pros isn't the right move for him yet.you have to think that this is his only year of college and we bring him to Milwaukee as soon as Penn State's season ends
Also, the college strength programs are way better than developmental leagues.I doubt that very much. He's 5'10...hes the same height as Bedard and bigger than CaulfieldI doubt that very much. Nobody will ever tell us. Some scouting reports listed him 5'9"/152lbs heading into the draft. Now he's more commonly listed 5'10"/161... neither really argues against him needing time to build extra strength. Either way, if he's a "short 5-10" or a legitimate 5-10, he's still going to need some extra muscle, which another year in the NCAA is perfect for.Is he 5’10” like Cliff Ronning, Steve Sullivan and Viktor Arvidsson? Or is he legitimately 5’10”?
Dont want to rush him out of NCAA. Let him hit the weights pack some muscle and learn to assert himself. He already seems to have a nack for it.Nobody will ever tell us. Hasn't that award more or less become the kiss of death for an NHL career?
Believe the Predators have another year to decide on Anton Olsson. He has played a handful of SHL games with Skelleftea and was loaned to Jukurit in Finland. Tough to evaluate defenseman solely on statistics.New update...

The Molendyk pick looks as good as ever but it just makes me think that this organization could not recognize a offensive talent even if it came down the street and smacked them on the face.
