I have not noticed Hatakka much but the couple of times I did, he made some good defensive plays.

Yeah. So in the end I don't mind so much that it was a bad pass because clearly he's going to try and squeeze pucks through and thread tight passes to see if he can against lesser competition, but I'd still rather see him only make those plays when he can complete them.

Merkley’s made some nice passes advancing the puck up the ice. I think the goalies look pretty good too

Has there been any indication who's scratched on each team? Each team lists 20 skaters, so clearly there's 2 guys apiece that aren't in the game. I suspect that Wiederer is one of them on Team Ricci, but I haven't noticed who else is missing yet.

By some process of elimination it would appear if there are 2 scratches aside they would be d-men on Team Marchment (who's carrying 8 on their roster) and forwards on Team Ricci (who only has 6 listed D).
I suspect that the missing Ricci forwards are Wiederer and Wienger, while on team Marchment I want to guess that the missing ones are Lee and Rees? I'm pretty sure I've heard of or seen Brewer, Ferraro, Kniazev, Chuste, Gregoire, and Wilson.

EDIT: There's a mention for Harrison Rees. So now I'm just totally confused about any players that might not be playing off the rosters.

Yeah, I just saw him too. They've gotta be playing 11F/7D then. I know for sure I've heard Brewer, Kniazev, Gregoire, and Ferraro's names, and I saw Cukste and Wilson during stoppages.
Maybe Alexeyev missing?

Yeah. Didnt really have much expectations from Reedy but he looks good so far today. Good on the forecheck and some decent passes.
