Shortridge is the only one who has looked steady to me so far. Robinson and Sawchenko have both looked shaky.

Merkeley is slick, but he needs to shoot when in a dangerous area.

Ferraro and Merkley look a level above everyone else. First impression makes me think Ferraro could make the team.
Chekhovich has looked alright. Chmelevski looks kind of invisible so far.

Merkley stood out like a sore thumb that half, in a good way. He’s clearly the most talented guy out there. Looks like his stick work on D is better, saw one attempted check that did literally nothing to influence the forward though haha.
Blichfeld and the ch-twins looking good too, and kniazev or however you spell it looks really slick too. Can’t wait for some of these guys to get into some preseason games and see how they look against a few nhl players.

Yeah, that attempted check along the boards was pretty weak. I forget who it was but the much bigger body spun off of him and made a pass to the middle. There may have been one other play like that but he looks like Erik Karlsson out there. You kinda take the good with the bad in that case but he’s probably not ready quite yet.
Ferraro looks very aggressive and confident as well.
I haven’t been all that impressed by Chmelevski or Chekhovich.
The players that I wasn’t watching for who have impressed me are Leonard, Pasichnuk (D), and Gregor.

This is pretty much what I see as well. Really thought I would notice Chmelevski more.

Sasha has looked pretty good to me, nice defensive play. Kinda looks like a poor man's Couture.

I was trying to figure out line combos earlier in the game, but I've given up with how hard it is to pick up jersey numbers in this stream.

I'm saying wasn't it Robinson and Sawchenko in each net at the end of the last half. But then to start this half Nollenberger says there's been a goalie change and notes that it's Robinson and Sawchenko in net now.
