I don’t know why people keep saying there is zero room. There is at least 1 or 2 forwards spot open and there’s a half decent chance someone gets hurt in the next couple weeks. There’s a lot of competition for those spots but if Halonen out plays the Thompson’s, Foote’s, or even Boqvists or Zetterlunds he should get first crack at the lineup.

There's no room without injuries. There's not any spots open that don't involve waiving a player who likely shouldn't be waived.

Halonen has looked good here, he's not challenging for any spots yet.

OK makes too many dumb reads for my liking right now. He's young so that's expected, but he has a lot to clean up.
Both him and Bahl need good puck movers, skaters, as mates. It was stupid to pair them together.

I'd like to see a little more nastiness in Bahl's game, and for Ohoktiuk to simplify his outlet passes, routes.

Idk, this was like devils c team, not even with Nico out lol.

Yeah that's fair.

As dumb as Sevo and Graves together, I agree. Odd pairs

Which makes it more amazing they won with only ONE true star player on it (Bratt).

Yea, I was expecting them to get smoked tonight.

I mean, the other team had none, and it was also a meaningless preseason game so, yeah. I really liked our game aside from the all too familiar shifts where we get stuck in our zone ne for 3 straight minutes.

Hoffman and Caufield. They also had more promising prospects.

The other team had none but most of their players showed more cohesiveness in passing the puck and having puck control more than the Devils players who kept losing the puck, having passes go off their sticks, making errant passes, and so forth.

So in that regard, it was amazing to win.

And so what if it's a meaningless preseason game?

It gives us good vibes talking about the players and who did well and who didn't.

I also think those types of players don't go nearly full speed in games like this, so things looked skewed. Even Bratt was just cruising.

So what happened to Nico? Tuned in on the radio late and all I learned was he left the game in the first period.

To be honest I don't know as I missed the first period. Apparently he was pulled from the game for precautionary reasons as he had leg cramps or something. Seems fishy to me.
