The Devils smoked them 5 on 5. In terms of young guys, Halonen, Boqvist, Bahl, Vilen, Thompson and Clarke were very good.
Severson actually had some good defensive plays. I think Graves is massively overrated as a "defensive" player. He's just average imo but he's got more offense than people seem to want to give him credit for.
So what I got from this game:
Bratt was by far the best player on the ice.
Captain Nico is dead.
Graves and Sevo are a trip defensively.
Bahl is showing some really good things.
Surely you mean in adirondaki'm a big fan of halonen in a bottom 6 role - maybe he can carve out a spot on 3rd line
Love Bratt’s game. I knew he had a breakout year but I didn’t get to watch New Jersey much. He’s so shifty. Great player.
May I ask the context of your response? You were saying?
Ya , simply zero room for Halonen even if he plays the nest he has ever played.Surely you mean in adirondak

adirondak? he's a top 10 goal scorer in NCAA, which isn't a small feat, so if anything, he's sticking in uticaYa , simply zero room for Halonen even if he plays the nest he has ever played.
Don’t think any of Bahl, Okhotiuk, or Walsh really did anything to push for that roster spot. Unless they show better they might be leaving the door open for someone else (Hickey, Nemec?). I actually really like Vilen too. Smooth skater, good, mover and looks solid defensively.

I don’t know why people keep saying there is zero room. There is at least 1 or 2 forwards spot open and there’s a half decent chance someone gets hurt in the next couple weeks. There’s a lot of competition for those spots but if Halonen out plays the Thompson’s, Foote’s, or even Boqvists or Zetterlunds he should get first crack at the lineup.Ya , simply zero room for Halonen even if he plays the nest he has ever played.
I'd like to see Bahl and Ok get some time with players they'll actually play with.
I believe Bahl also was battling in front of the crease with Dach and Slafkovsky a lot tonight. I don't think many of our D could have done that.I think Bahl continues to get overlooked because of his limited offense. And it is limited. But Caufield was pretty much neutralized by Bahl 5 on 5 from what I saw.

Wait so how many main roster guys did Montreal have out? Was that like their B team?
