I’m not sure it’s only preseason tactics. I think teams will play Habs top 6 tough because we’re either small or injury prone.
The bottom 6 is full of vets who look like they’re playing out the string.
As endlessly mentioned, Habs need to craft a 4th line that gets its pound of flesh. Knocks teams around and is a deterrent.
The D is fine with guys like xhekaj and struble

I get it’s bad luck, and I hope he’s ok, but at some point we shouldn’t be surprised if the injury prone, dude’s with potential that we trade for, remain injury prone. And it f***ing sucks
At this point you have to think if the moves Hughes made actually flopped

Most were build on promise and potential.

So far Dach, Barron and Newhook have been quite disappointing trade.

Marty talked to Pezz and that's the best he could give for two minutes. FME
Greig is a POS I've mentioned this more than once. The pay back has to be on Stutzle.
Going back on Greig isn't a strong enough message.

Now that I'm seeing less red, I think it's good that this is happening during the pre-season. Team toughness has reached a boiling point and will have to be addressed in the locker room before the regular season starts.
