I always wondered why the Rangers prefer to rely on the AHL defensive depth and never tried to stock some young defenseman with the organization that can add quality depth via trade or young UDFA signing. They should not play guys like Harpur and Mackey. Cant the Rangers call the Habs or another team that has some young depth for some of their young depth. Kakko used as bait?

Lindgren got hurt fighting Mayfield after Mayfield hit Chytil in open ice. Chytil limped off the ice like Lt. Dan, but came back. Lindgren died.
