Why no TV? **** you Fox.

When does the FSW deal end? TWC Sportsnet airs every preseason game of the Dodgers and the Lakers. Fox Sports is also about to lose the Clippers next season. The monopoly FSW they enjoyed for years will be dead.

Almost certainly not the only reason, but the Angels were playing on FSN, and you'll notice throughout the season, the Kings almost never play on FSPT, except when playing the ducks.

As per the schedule, they never have the Kings feed on FSPT. Though a few times late in the year, when their figure to be conflicts with the Angels and/or Clippers and/or ducks they will be on KCOP.

I don't think it matters. FSPT serves as the alternate channel in case of overlapping. Of course, the Angels always stay on FSW and the Kings have to move to FSPT for the night because (I assume) the Angels have a bigget contract. The Ducks move to FSW when the Clippers are playing at the same time as they are.

Right now, FSPT is airing the replay of the UCLA game. Apparently, that's the priority over a live Kings event.

Do not want TWC ruining another LA team.

Ruining? The Dodgers channel will eventually be on other providers. How exactly have they ruined the Lakers? TWC has provided a much better coverage. Fox Sports West is 3 hours of game time and then the rest is infomercials. Pretty sure the Kings would have a much better original programming than Alex Curry and Kings players walking on the Venice Beach boardwalk if they had a TV deal with TWC.

Weal to the box.

Shortly after Downie (embellishment) and Forbort go to the sin bin. Looks like the ref wasn't buying what Downie was selling.

ETA: Read this in the LAKingsInsider comments:

"Weal gets called for hooking and goes into the wrong box. LoL"

Meanwhile, fans missing Vin Scully's final season is a very real possibility. It doesn't bother me, as I have found a way around it, despite being in the blackout region.

If they could add it to the Lakers network, and basically just carry games on a secondary channel (like how the big ten network has multiple channels) because the sports (hockey and basketball) run at the same time, that would be cool.

So you're telling me that if the Kings go to Time Warner, I might have to ONLY miss 2-3 seasons of Kings hockey?

Sounds great.

Lesson: don't touch the Doughty or you will pay.

The position is open. Apply within.

What happened??

edit; nm, from rosen: Domi caught Doughty with a cross-check in LA’s zone that was a touch late and in an awkward position near the boards. Not a good hit, but it didn’t deserve anything more than the two minutes awarded

I read that a number of Kings, Kopi and Muzzin in particular, took real exception to Domi. But no, I didn't hear anything about it being dirty.

Or they could have had it now and last season. I don't care for the Lakers channel programming. The Dodgers channel programming is actually pretty solid, but it's a travesty that me, a casual Dodger fan, gets all this access while my sister who is to the Dodgers as I am to the Kings fan wise, hasn't been able to watch a game without it being a national broadcast in several years. It's a travesty.

I wouldn't want Kings fans to lose several seasons of access because of provider pissing matches.
