Well I’m glad you’re happy with your team.I think most Sens fans are more than content that their team has been one of the better NHL teams over the last 3 months, not to mention how the Sens have been the BEST team in the league over the last 15 games. I guess all that’s left is to see who remains happy at season’s end….

Not happy but had FLA pegged more of a wildcard like team early in the year.
No excuses, they are underperforming of late.

Had OTT as a bubblish team, they are starting to click at end of year which they always seem to do of years past.

The 2 games between FLA and OTT should be fun, hopefully a rivalry is built and Tkachuks feed into it.

I actually gave a ton of praise over last 2 years to OTT and their current build but when you get posters that go above and beyond to shit on your team, it's fun to debate and shit talk when their predictions fall flat.

Poster in question has yelled atop the mountains OTT has a deeper offense than FLA but still hasn't bared fruit, going on almost 3 years now.

Looks like the top 6 of Ottawa has out pointed the top 6 on Florida.

1. Toronto - great reg season team
2. Tampa - core intact, theyll be solid
3. Florida - less good but still playoff team
4. Detroit - barely sneaks in
5. Ottawa (misses by 2 pts)
6. Boston (cant recover from missing stars first few months)
7. Buffalo - 1 more year of tanking
8. MTL - goaltending/defense still pretty awful

the :wings will eliminate :leafs in game 7, Canada lifts vax requirements and Bertuzzi will score the game winning goal

You may still be right about Bertuzzi but he will do it for the team you least expected.

I expect Edvinsson to come in and he is pretty advanced defensively for his age. Whether he's the #2 or #3 LD on Detroit doesn't bother me. He's a clear upgrade on any LD from last season.

There are always projections that go wrong but what were you basing this on? Kid
hadn't played 1 NHL game yet.

Come on man he had him pegged as a possible #2 LD man. That's ridiculous.
Playing on Detroit's 2nd pairing wasn't a crazy scenario going into the season. We only really knew Chiarot was going to be on the top pairing and we didn't know both Walman and Määttä would be as good as they have been.

Maatta has been an established LD in the NHL for years and Walman in his stint in
Detroit last year was IMO going to be dressed regularly this year. The fact is Edvinsonn
wasn't ready for top 4 TOI and was better off being a top pair in the AHL. It was nothing but wishful thinking on him being a top 4 NHL player.

Even Yzerman said he only thought Walman was maybe a 3rd pairing guy going into the season, and I believe Maatta played more of a 3rd pairing role for LA. But yes, it was better for Edvinsson to get a bigger role in AHL.

How's that popcorn? Maybe...just maybe we should wait until the end of the season before claiming any moral victories. As I said, they would need to pace for their best season ever, which doesn't seem to be the case.

13 games left and they need to jump 3 teams, making up 7 points on the Pens with no games in hand. If the Pens keeps their current pace they should end with 93 points. So the Sabers will need 22 points in 13 games. I believe 3 reglalation loses has them out, so I believe these are all the ways they can get in. May have missed one.

Its too bad...the injuries were too much to overcome. They will be a darn good team going forward. I was hoping they would spend trade deadline but they held off and have kept all there draft picks and talented prospects.

Going to be a good to great team next decade.

They have absolutely played above my expectations. Tage is going to be the real deal.
