3-0 for the Swiss? Why the F*** am I not surprised. I know our best players are out but this still unacceptable. Jalonen has some work to do tonight.

4-1 wow. I like that Swiss came to play and return this Finnish hype back to the surface of the earth from the clouds.

Damn game summary stats update slowly. I want to know who are doing worst in the +/-.

I was about to celebrate Saarela's goal and suggest that Finland will make a comeback, but the Swiss scored again less than a minute later :shakehead

Playing bad before the tournament so that the other teams will belive that Finland sucks....

This is smart tactic from the finns.

Well, behind all my cosmopolitan makeup and pretending and style I might still have a Finnish jävel heart to carry with me. Try bear with me. :shakehead

Is some one having the goods on this game? I thought there is no sweets.

What a hell is going on in Hämeenlinna Switzerland leads 1-4.
Come on Finland you're not that ****.

I don't give much value for these exhibition games.
But i'll expect a lot better game in this Saturday against Belarus.

We have no chance in this tournament, time to sell your tickets while you still get something from them.

In case you're come into this decision, I know some one who can buy ticket or two, just PM me.

I'm hoping Kapanen to be a 3rd line winger.
Rants is going to give this team a huge boost.

That team needs a leader and Rantanen will be Finland's leader.
And what comes for Kapanen these world juniors are his last chance to show which wood he's made for.

If Kapanen will bust world juniors again ( just like last year) he'll be solid 3rd liner in KHL not NHL

Couldn't be more happy to see Finland struggling in the first exhibition game. Players will understand that they are just human beings and can be defeated by the competitors. When they keep that in mind they will try their best and that's the only way to win a tournament like this.

I wouldn't worry too much. Finland has one of it's best teams ever and you all know it

Good to experience some difficulties before the tournament imo. Still remember 2013 where Finland flat out dominated Usa and Canada in the exhibition games and proceed to play the most arrogant ice hockey i've seen from a Finnish hockey team and ended up in the relegation group.

You might be on the trail of truth here. But it might also be a worrisome signal screaming a bad defense and lackluster netminding

What are you on about?
Teams 5 easily best players are out of the lineup and we are losing, big surprise.
Those missing guys are expected to be the leaders on this team.
