Agree to disagree. Simmonds signed on for two years. They value his leadership and toughness

He brought very little toughness for most of last year, got hurt fighting, and then was a liability for the rest of the year after that.

Leadership is not keeping him in the top 12 lineup. If we wanted that, he can be the 13th. He's fighting for his spot, and at this point, we have at least 12 forwards better than him... And added a lot of guys to compete or replace everything he brings. Ritchie and Bunting especially fit right into his spot on the PP, and that was the only thing that made him more than just a pure 4th line, 8 minute grinder on this team.
