I don’t want to be over critical on players that I want to like .

But considering the expectations I had, I think Jake Virtanen has had a just dreadful preseason.

I don’t know guys, I have watched so many hockey games in my long long long life, Maybe I shouldn’t be critical about anything in the preseason, and just say f*** it

Gaudette has looked decent I feel.

I have seen anything that makes me want to keep him up. He's not bad but he's not getting much done either (nobody is). Best thing would be AHL time with a bigger role, gets some points, build on that next season.

I've only noticed Goldobin once through two periods when he lost a board battle and just seemed completely overwhelmed. I honestly think if he was eating an ice cream bar on the street. I could walk up to him, ***** slap him, take his ice cream bar. And he'd stare at me with the same confused look he seems to display every time he loses a board battle... which is every time he goes into a board battle.

The fire just isn't there. If Motte had Goldy's skill he'd be a star.

I like them too, just not as two of your top 3 offensive options. And yep thats our boy.

Montreal, Ottawa and Vancouver are going to be racing to the bottom. I think Ottawa will suck more than us just because that organization is just a raging dumpster fire while ours is just a bureaucratic dumpster fire that's been a slow burn for half a decade. We can't even be the best at sucking. But it should be a putrid race to the bottom.

Once again, the man is trying to keep Canada down with 50% of their teams being whatever this hockey hell is.

I'm dont think I have seen all his games, but I cannot remember him doing anything of relevance.

Sadly, I’m inclined to agree. I can’t say he hasn’t been given a fair shake in this preseason, he just hasn’t reached out and grabbed that brass ring.
