Kakko had a lot to prove after how his season ended being healthy scratched. He did what he needed to do, and now should be awarded with a Top 6 spot, opening day.
With that said, the other guys needing to prove themselves didn‘t impress this pre-season. I didn’t expect the vets to really play hard but I didn’t expect them to be this uninterested. Again, It’s only preseason. First 10-15 games of the regular season will then have more to go on when it comes to judging players performances. It’s way too early to make any kind of assessment.
