Eiserman is very clearly above Catton. He has more elite characteristics and Catton suffers in physical commitment. There are more doubts about him. Eiserman, it's very easy to see him become an elite scorer. The teams that are in the race to select 2nd selected top 4 last year. So there is a good chance that Eiserman plays next to Bedard/Carlsson/Fantilli and Smith. He's going to have fun next to one of these players.

I highly doubt Kiviharju goes in the 1st round. Undersized and slow is not a favorable combination for NHL teams

So will Jiricek be forgotten, and slowly slide down the list due to inaction? A case of no news is bad news?

Haven't quite gotten a full 32 yet. But this is where I'm at for the first half.

Hard to rank this year after Celebrini, especially the Dmen.

Haven't had time to really dig through the youngsters earlier during this season due to work but initial list in tiers, most guys I have seen only like one game to have at least some idea so might be very hot takes(for example, I did not see what the buzz was with Lindström yet other than size), have to look more. Still guys that I want to see more(need to see more of most top d's for example) so not quite 32 players yet for me either.

Nice list, thank you for sharing! Where does Artamonov rank for you?
There’s a group of guys in the I’d say 20-50 range in my opinion that can easily be interchanged for one another on any given day. He is in that range, however I haven’t gotten many good looks of him so far this year so there is room for him to jump significantly when I dive deep into his game.

Adam Jiricek is lower than what I’ve seen, why?
Injury doesn’t help things, I also think he is the kind of player that is good at everything, but not good enough at one or two paticular skills to put him over the top. I think there are other defenders in the class that have those elite traits in their respective games that I would prefer to Jiricek.

Nice list German. You seems to like Dickinson. What do you think is his offensive ceiling ? Is he an Hanifin type of d-men at +/- 40 pts a year ? Or you think he can be better then that ?

Lots of amazing defenseman, but I remain high on both Catton, and Demidov. Even if they both end up on the wing, they have dynamic offensive skill that strongly suggest first-line talent.

The injury certainly doesn't help. Otherwise, it seems to me that the view of him is quite influenced by the fact that he often played with older players. When he played tournaments with the same age, it was pure dominance on his part.
