Not good enough for SKA
Demidov has his entire MHL games available on youtube for free for anyone to see but apparently "there’s just not much tape on him".
Interesting.

Lmao it's the same bs every year. MHL, VHL, Slovak Extraliga all have their games available for free in good quality yet there's never much tape on them. Just tells you how deep all these "I watch all the hockey in the world" scouts actually dig.Demidov has his entire MHL games available on youtube for free for anyone to see but apparently "there’s just not much tape on him".
Interesting.
I'm not making this a Matthews v. Eiserman debate, but Matthews' linemates with the NTDP were Matthew Tkachuk and Jack Roslovic, and Charlie McAvoy was feeding him passes from the blue line.Eiserman played on one of the top two NTDP classes ever. He had 6 assists for the U18. Matthews outscored in the U18 WJC and he also played in the U20 WJC

Comparing Matthews' teammates to virtually anyone after that is going to come out at worst a wash.
Not really. More like
OHL/WHL/USHL
QMJHL
U20 Nationell
MHL
Shl J20?It's the same level of play. Tkachuk was a D-1 player also. More important to me is just scouting the player. I know it's not necessarily an AM vs. Eiserman debate, but it's useful to see how obvious it is that Matthews was the better D-1 player. Matthews was a driver and a triple threat. Eiserman is not a driver (complementary) and one-dimensional this year, as far as I could see
I thought consensus is USHL is slightly below CHL due to the presence of NCAA. CHL players don't have another stepping stone until pro hockey. They rarely go to NCAA. A huge portion of United States U20 players see NCAA time. That would be my thought process. And MHL is prob more equivalent to USHL than CHL. Or in the middle.
NCAA > CHL > MHL/USHL
I'm not familiar enough to make a statement but there's a league equivalency at the bottom of this page NHL Equivalency and Prospect Projection Models: Building the NHL Equivalency Model (Part 2)Shl J20?
Hoping the Flyers luck into Demidov to play alongside Michkov one day.
Bedard and Celebrini versus Michkov and Demidov for 15+ years would be awesome.Hoping the Flyers luck into Demidov to play alongside Michkov one day.
Hopefully having Michkov would help them avoid being crazy enough to pass on Demidov, should they have the opportunity to draft him. But yeah.. Michkov/Demidov would be a duo for the god damn agesHoping the Flyers luck into Demidov to play alongside Michkov one day.

I think Demidov is the most talented player in the draft. Pencil him in for 80+ points a year through his prime.
Eiserman is one of the better goal scoring prospects to come around over the past decade. Spoiled a bit on his game at the u18, but he is still very good.
Levshunov is one of the most intruiging defense prospects I can remember. High end puck skills, but engagement can be an issue and defensive game needs work,
I think Catton is in the same mold as guys like Barzal or Avalanche era Duchene. Could be your 1C, but ideally your 2C on a top contender.
Extremely impressed with Connelly at the Hlinka Gretzky. Very high skill level.
I think Ryder Ritchie is top six. Perennial 30 goal scorer type.
Cole Hutson is a high end puck mover. Interested to see where he goes. A little bigger than Lane, but decently similar.
Boisvert could be a big time riser. Smooth, skilled, big center. Skating is the biggest limiting factor at this point.
I like Parekh and think he can run an NHL power play. High upside as an offensive defenseman.
Hemming has the potential to be an absolute force. NHL frame with a high end shot and skill. Hockey sense can be questionable.
Beaudoin is projectable. Question is what the offensive ceiling is.
Big fan of Ondrej Kos. Everything is there to be a solid middle six type.
I like Petterson's two way upside.
I like him. He plays the 'modern' defenseman style. Good skater and puck mover. I think he has top pairing upside.Thoughts on Mews?
Neumann and Reiner are long shots with hardly any chances. Biber had a good start into the season, better than I expected, he should at least pop up in several draft reports.Austria:
Johannes Neumann
Gregor Bieber
Paul Reiner
