Honestly, the more I look at my list the more I find it difficult to properly rank Fantilli, Michkov, and Carlsson. I don’t even know how to properly rank them because I think a lot of it is up to preference and honestly my preference changes day-to-day.

I tried to look my earlier posting about final draft list since hockey season has been basically played out at this point for juniors. Rest of the hockey should not really matter anymore for the drafting at this point.

Only thing I would change right now is to maybe move Willander(t5, around 23-25ish) up a tier but otherwise I am still happy with the list. Carlsson was already nr 3 before National hockey pool etc. Not worth making final final(x2) version to just move up one guy.

I'd go further and say that after Bedard, Fantilli, and Carlsson go in the top-3/4 - it's wide open.

Yeah Michkov and Smith are pretty solidly in the 4-8 range but not locked in and then there are 20-30 other guys who could go anywhere in the 1st round.

I really wouldn't be shocked if Danielson or Dvorsky get picked #5 or #6 oa. Maybe Honzek goes top 10 or something like that. This draft could get pretty nuts, but I think the consensus near draft time will be;

I don’t think my list has many ‘hot takes’ but I’m high on Leonard. I think he’s got a really well rounded game that will translate to the NHL. I don’t see some crazy dynamic 100+ point getter but I see a Hyman type winger who can play with your top guys.

I think Leonard is like Boldy when he came out. Everyone was focusing on Zegras, Turcotte & Caufield but he is arguably the best one from that class when it comes to playing a complete game.

I completely agree.

I was actually thinking Leonard's situation was similar to Cutter Gauthier's from last year. All eyes on Logan Cooley, but Cutter just kept improving as the season went on.
