I put Sale there because of his playmaking ability. I think it would mesh well with Pettersson especially after his breakout year this year. I do like the idea of getting them players to surround him with up front.

I would argue that he's the opposite player for Petey. Here's why: he works best with hard working off the puck players who are constantly working to get open or into open ice (ie: Kuzmenko). This is the one gripe many scouts have with Sale is that he can be lazy. Has the tools but seems unmotivated.

I'm not a pro scout but I have extensively followed the Draft throughout the year. Dealt a lot with impostor syndrome while making this, unsure if I'd even finalize my rankings because I kept feeling weighed down with a lack of confidence. Thankfully, now that I'm done, I feel pretty good about it. Lemme know what you guys think, if theres any questions, comments or other thoughts about my rankings please let me know.

Yeah, I knew this would be asked. Two things I really like about his game are his high-motor and his creativity. I think he has times where he looks like a legitimate danger with the puck, he has good craftiness that gives him good puck control, and he's a guy who can be explosive in the right situations. Finishing was a slight issue, even with a 30-Goal season, but his game, as well as what I felt was a growth in defense throughout the season, makes me think that he could have a huge breakout and could push for top-six potential in the NHL.
