Can't make too deep off a list because I haven't seen too much of the players yet to get the full picture.
This is one of the years where it is easy to agree that Wright should be first pick.
I really like Jiricek, Cooley and Nemec and could be convinced to switch places by each other. I just like Jiricek's size, skating, playmaking abilities and decision making speed too much at least right now when compared to others.
Kemell is ahead of Slafkovsky because he has shown that he has ability to be more consistently productive in men's league. He is just more of a finisher than playmaker although he can complete simple passes often enough.
Overall, it's really hard to go absolutely wrong with my top 6 picks. After that, the risk factors start to increase per each player.
I still reserve my rights on judging the two most interesting russians in this draft, Miroshnichenko and Yurov since I haven't seen them much yet.
If there is notable names missing, I just haven't seen them enough yet or there is very little material available on them.
I am still debating a bit if I should put Nemec ahead of Cooley but I am not absolutely sure yet.
group 1:
Shane Wright
group 2:
David Jiricek
Logan Cooley
Simon Nemec
group 3:
Joakim Kemell
Juraj Slafkovsky
group 4:
Brad Lambert
Matthew Savoie
group 5:
Ivan Miroshnichenko
Elias Salomonsson
Jonathan Lekkerimäki
Noah Östlund
