Bah. No Pearson or Adams in the C's lineup tonight.

And the frigging pro shop is sold out of red jerseys.

You missed Pearson by a couple days. Even though he's not running out there for a long time I'm pretty sure they slotted him into the regular rotation (with a piggyback partner I guess).

I think they're still being cautious with him. I think the other day was his first start since the game I saw on TV over a week ago. So he doesn't appear to be on a regular 5-man rotation schedule.

Oh well, I still have 4 more games over the next couple weeks. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Hey guys, I will bring my 2year old son to the game tomorrow, leaving Ottawa around noon. My hotel is in Scarborough so I won't check in until after the game. What's the best place (sure place) to park to go to the game that I can walk in the city with my son. Don't care about the price

There's all kinds of parking on the north side of the park. There's a little bit of a walk regardless of where you park really. With the bigger crowds it may drive you a little further out. Remember you can also park under some of the buildings nearby.

There's an amazing parking spot at King and Spadina.

Public lot that is just across from Brasaii restaurant and just tiny bit hidden from view.

$5 parking on most days and is an easy, safe walk to the Rogers Centre.

Who thought we would see the day where the Yankees missed out on a player they wanted due to minor financial constraints?

And yet... the whole trade looks way worse on the Mets. They could have had two (presumably better) prospects, but they chose to save a couple million instead. Ouch.

Haven't heard anything in a while but are the Wilpon's still cash strapped after the Madoff scenario?

LMAO... and another one bites the dust.

Taylor Cole fractures his toe - 10 DL. Guys got to be afraid to get the call now.

Chris Smith is getting the call up.

The comments on that story are facepalm-worthy...

Just got into yet another argument with my father, who is a Tigers fan. He LOVES to rant about how Devon Travis is and always was damaged goods and that's why the Tigers dumped him on the Blue Jays, and I keep shaking my head because he likes to leave out what the Tigers GOT for Devon Travis...

Not to mention the "Devon Travis was injury prone in Detroit" does not seem to jive with REALITY...

I guess it depends how you view the term "injury prone". The only season he was completely healthy was 2013. He had DL stints in the minors during the 2012, 2014 season. Acquired by Toronto he has had 6 DL stints.

Quote: "Devon Travis has never played a full season in his life! Detroit finally traded him because they were sick of waiting for him not to be injured!"

Then again, he also starts ranting if anyone even whispers the word Sabremetrics...
