How many times today did we struggle to get it out of our end, or struggle with the breakout? Heinola is so smooth and is great at exiting his own zone. He’ll be a big addition to the team.

Stanley was good again, I doubt he sticks just not Maurice's MO

morrisey got 2 points but was still horrible

I counted over 20 times we chose to not finish our checks for some reason.

Brossoit played pretty good.

Connor is very very good. I never gave him credit for how great of a forechecker he is. I really paid attention today and was blown away.

This defence is still very bad and demelo isn’t a game breaker we are going to have to get better on defence as an entire team, no other choice.

Got the win. Didn’t deserve it. Going to be a long stressful season if we keep playing like this

Most people are pissed with the personnel decisions in OT. But the Senators outplayed the Jets so one can't be too upset.

Yep. And after a mini camp with no preseason games. Not sure why people expect them to be firing on all cylinders. It is like no one watches any other teams play. Inconsistent hockey has been the story of the season so far.

Its not the dmen though that are bungling that, its the forwards who are more often then not messing things up once they get the puck from the dmen.

But yes having another pure puck mover will help a lot once the forwards clean things up.

Welp, that was a game.

Good on PoMo for finally registering Alpha's hypnotic suggestion/ PGT screed and pulling the goalie and good on the lads for remembering how to play possession hockey for just long enough to tie the game up -- and bad on Chabot for Buffing the OT with that 4-minute shift so Ehlers could keep his gorge down just long enough to flick it past Murray, and good on JMo for finding a way to neutralize Beaulieu in the last few minutes and good on Brossoit for a heckuva 3rd and OT and bad on Laine for sitting in those crappy Sens seats all game without his ObusForme...

At least he has something positive to take into the next game. Also I felt he was really only crap in the first period. He wasn't super noticeable in the last two which given how his first went tonight may not have been a bad thing.
