Just realized Rowdy has been killing it in Milwaukee. Would suck if he turns into a beast somewhere else but I don't think it was ever going to happen for him here. I wish him well, except when he's facing us.

Wish him the best but he is now in one of the worst divisions so I am not surprised.

Tellez looks like that uber ugly heavyweight boxer out of England.

Rowdy is raking so hard in Milwaukee that I'm starting to think he didn't want to play here. It did always seem like a mental issue with him.

Or that.

Then again, bizarre hot streaks right after some positive development in Rowdy's career is nothing unusual. Let's see if he can keep it up.

It's called a hot streak after jumping from the AL to the NL where pitchers haven't zoned in on him yet.

You'd think that Taijuan Walker would make some of you hesitant to draw conclusions based off of "hot streaks".

See my edited post. I already considered that.

And I was one of the first people to note where Walker was pitching when people started talking about how we made a mistake with him (I would have signed him anyway since we didn't have many other options).

It's also unfair to single him out given how his fall from grace happened immediately after he grimaced in pain when swinging the bat against the Jays (and may have been lingering before the start against Philly). Players hide injuries all the time. Look at Dolis. Pitched over a month with no feeling in his fingers.

**But he had a decent start today. That one poor period fits nicely with what could have been an injury. So unless Walker continues to crap out in every start for the rest of the season, right now it's safe to say his last few starts were a blip.

I think he liked it with the Jays but knew he wouldn't playing full time with Vladdy at first.

It was a bad stretch but he’s a near career .800 ops hitter. When he gets hot he really gets hot. His numbers will cool down but terrific pick up for Milwaukee. They turned Feyersen and Rasmussen into 2 of the better 2020 hitters in the A.L East in Adames and Tellez. Great asset management

Dolis has quietly comeback to life;

9 appearances
9.2 innings
0 ER or Runs
0 HRs
4 hits
5 BBs
13 Ks

Those appearances were against Boston 3 times, the Mets twice, and the Rays, O’s, Rangers and Indians one each.

It's always fun to see people lose their mind about management's moves/non-moves based on a couple good/bad weeks.

It feels like just a few weeks ago people were ripping them about Walker. Now he would be at best their 6th starter (and trending in the wrong direction - he's been unplayably bad the last couple months).

I literally see no one "losing their minds" for letting Rowdy go in the thread, but if you want to play Sancho Panza for metafour that's cool too.
