Great season. Youngest team in the league. Incredible playoff experience, so many young stars who really grew up this year. I am a buckeyes fan yes, but God I hope Columbus embraces this team for the entire season next year.

There is NOTHING like playoff hockey!

14 years but We finally have a team and organization to be proud of and lots to look forward to in the years to come. I am ready for next season to start...tomorrow!!

Columbus gets the all star game next year.....when will we see a winter classic in the Horseshoe??????????

Those 3 late goals will have the fans and talk radio to the east of us lots to talk about before their next series......not in a good way....yes that's something to take away from this game for me

No need to be calling other people arrogant when this post makes it seems as you are just as arrogant with this post. Anyways, way to go down with a fight CBJ. Until next year.

I think they have the right to be upset. Our media and its sheep loves to **** on "expansion" teams that haven't had success yet like the Jackets and the Preds.

I hate the Pens and everything about their team and their fans, unless they play the god damn Rangers, **** the pens.

Love the spirit of the team. loved the ending, was a heartbreak, but it was alot better than getting destroyed. Can't wait until the Pens get theirs in the next round or so.

As I discussed in the other thread, I think the d help will occur organically.

It would be nice to get Wiz down to 16 minutes as a PP specialist.

You may be on to something here, we are deep on the blue line, perhaps that is how best to use Wiz next year

We were nobody when we were in the West. Now that we've moved East, I think it's a safe assumption that we will be a second-place team next year.

I wouldn't go that far. We still have a lot to prove. This team is no where consistent enough yet.

Anybody at the last game in Columbus for our series vs DET? Hundreds of fans hurled cups and bottles onto the ice as the players shook hands, rejoicing to see Columbus supporting the boys instead of jeering them!

That was directed towards the refs, not the players.

The question is Richards. In all honestly he should have made an adjustment tonight, when Wiz was partly or completely responsible for goals against.

If Richards manages Wiz better we might have taken this game to OT.

I'm not mad at the team or any of the players. I am upset with Richards and will be for a couple of weeks.

CBJ I love your passion and your a great poster for the CBJ. Do not let ANY Penguin fan ever get under your skin. There is not 1 pitt fan on earth worth it. They are the most entitled, spoiled fans of any sport. I can only imagine how fast the depends fly off the shelves for their fans.....whining, crying spoiled babies.

At 5.5 mil a year... Yeah no thanks

I assume you are talking Wiz. Might want to be precise; he makes 5, 5, and 3. If nothing else we need him in the regular season. That is a lot of offense from the blueline. Richards just needs to manage him better.

I think it's fitting the series ended in a score of 4-3. It's just too bad we were on the losing end of it.

I am so damn proud of this team. Nobody gave them a chance and they just said "Screw you" and made their own chance. There were so many beastly performances it's hard to remember them all but I'll never forget Dubi's work in this series. He was a monster.

I'm proud of the fans too. I can't imagine a better atmosphere for our breakout playoff performance. Well done 5th line!

I think you're way off in your assessment of that game. The Jackets had just been called for a "too many men on the ice penalty" late in the game just after we had tied it up from being two goals down. That's when all hell broke loose with the fans throwing things.

We will see, we have a lot of talented young blue liners in the system that play for much cheaper

Don't be silly. You're just trying to be difficult now. Wiz might get traded, but we're not going to go that young on defense. The only young d-man that might put up 40 points is Murray and I think that is stretch for now. Wiz played a very important role on this team and he is worth the last 13 million we owe him.

Take this into the "contender" thread if you want to persist, not appropriate here.

No no no, he's the gift to all the NHL never plays outside the lines its all Dubinsky!

Still not the "right" way to end a hard fought season
No doubt.

Thanks, agreed. Just upset, still upset, while being proud at the same time. If that makes any sense.
