Well, sucks it came to an early end but it was a nice ride. Lots of work to be done still, but the future is bright. Not a lot of teams fight back from holes like the Jackets do, and that's something that will define our identity for years to come.

We have so many players who could take the next step and help us become a powerhouse... is it Cam? Arty? Murray? Savard? We've already had guys like JJ, Calvert and Dubinsky beast.

I'd say we're a Top 6 forward and a Top 4 D-man away from making serious noise next season, but our solution might come from within. :)

Ohio?!?!
I'm glad they made it a game.

Good season everyone. We got some big firsts out of the way. Next time we can focus on the next big one: winning a series.

I hope the casual fans will be back, and that Nationwide will be full more often next year. I hope that we will continue to build and move forward.

It's gonna be fun.

Go Jackets!

To all of the arrogant jackass fans in Canada who wonder why there is a hockey team in Columbus, it is because we are a hockey town, we just haven't had a team that would compete as this team has

Yes Canada there is a hockey town in Ohio, its called Columbus

Leafs fan here. Been pulling for you guys ever since you made the playoffs. You guys would have been way more entertaining to see in the second round than the Pens. Played with the most heart out of any team I've seen so far. Thanks for being such an awesome fanbase and giving me something fun to watch. Respect.

Also, your team has so much heart. Down 0-4 and storm back to one. If Horton was playing this series I think this goes 7,

As I discussed in the other thread, I think the d help will occur organically.

It would be nice to get Wiz down to 16 minutes as a PP specialist.

Well I can't believe I now have to root for the Rangers or God forbid, the Flyers (who have THE worst fans in the NHL), right now it's looking like the Rangers.

As for who I want to win the Cup, I want Montreal to win it now, so that the Cup can return home to Canada. Montreal fans deserve it given how a decade ago they lost their only other team in one of the Big 4 leagues, the Expos.

Partons Canadiens!

No need to be calling other people arrogant when this post makes it seems as you are just as arrogant with this post. Anyways, way to go down with a fight CBJ. Until next year.

We've gotten mostly encouraging fans this season from our friends up North. I'm ready to give this a rest now.

Great series CBJ. Too bad Horton wasn't able to go. He's usually good for a couple big playoff goals. May have different outcome with him there.

As Bear Bryant once said "We didn't lose, we just ran out of time"

Almost one of the greatest comebacks I've ever seen. A couple of chances that came so close. Calvert's "mini-breakaway" off the face-off, puck just laying there for a second or so before it was cleared,I think one or two others. Damn. I was hoping for the OT.

Well, its been a hell of a ride and lots to look forward to.

On the other hand, we are headed for bigger and better things. We did a lot better this playoff appearance than we did against the Wings 5 years ago.

We were nobody when we were in the West. Now that we've moved East, I think it's a safe assumption that we will be a second-place team next year.
