Wiz and Tyutin are the worst two defensemen we've had sense Rusty Klesla, I hate them with the white hot passion of a thousand suns. Pitt is full of such a bunch of babies, I would love to fight every single one of them for diving all over the ice. I'm so angry I can't see.

By the way, for those who have may have forgot in all the buildup to tonight's game, the Falcons have a shot to put away the P-Bruins in the AHL Conference Quarterfinals tomorrow night.

Anybody at the last game in Columbus for our series vs DET? Hundreds of fans hurled cups and bottles onto the ice as the players shook hands, rejoicing to see Columbus supporting the boys instead of jeering them!

The cups and debris were hurled at the linesman for calling a controversial too many men penalty with less than two minutes to go - thwarting our comeback bid. That doesn't make it right. Just correcting the record.

Boy if Niskanen is a free agent, I would love to see thw Jackets pull out all the stops to sign him.

I made my real sentiments in another thread.

For this one, I'll just say that I'm extremely proud to be a CBJ fan today - more proud than I've ever been. Thank you to the team for emptying the tanks and being such a damn hard working group, and thank you to the fans for never giving up on our guys.

Next year, it's our time.

Go Jackets!

Glad to see another speak the gospel on Tyutin. We clearly play better without him and all he does is turn it over.

But I am totally impressed with the young core:

Starting with Bob

Jack Johnson, Murray, Prout, Savard, Erixon

& the forwards Johanson, Jenner, Dubinsky, Atkinson, Calvert, Horton, Foligno, Letestu

Artem was missing this series.. Umby & Toots were hurt, Wizzer wasn't hurt but was a sinbin regular

Hopefully we have some skill coming in Wennberg Borkstrand etc.,

Had the pleasure being at all 3 home games. Amazing atmosphere, competitive games, last one didn't go our way but the comeback to 4-3 is another example of this team's heart and character. Great things lie ahead for the CBJ...I am highly impressed and glad to be a CBJ fan! How often in this team's history can u say that? We still need some assets either from development from within (Wennberg, Dano, Rychel, Bjorkstrand) or via trade/FA but the foundation is set. CBJ...CBJ...CBJ...CBJ...

I really could see a trade of Tuts in the off season. He has clearly lost a step and is no longer the reliable, steadying influence he once was. Trade him while he has value and before the other teams catch on that he is in decline.

What a great effort by this team!!! They showed their guts and courage. I really hope the City of Columbus embraced these guys after the hard work they did. The players on our team are all athlete/role models. What a great group. I want next season to start tomorrow.

Just back from the game. I am extremely proud to be a fan of the Jackets. Never been as excited over a loss, if that makes any sense.

There were things I could criticize (Wiz....geeeez)...........but, I'd rather relish this warm afterglow of a great season. I too was lucky enough to attend all 3 home playoff games; it was a sports experience of a lifetime for me. But the good thing is, I really believe; the best is yet to some.

Join The Battle. Carry The Fricking Flag. CBJ. :yo:

The parking garages were so loud after the game. Cheering, honking, chanting. You would have SWORN we won the game. I have a feeling we won something much bigger in the long-term.

Wiz is fine. You guys, he just put up 50 some points and was fine defensively for most of the year. He had a bad playoff, so what. He'll learn from it. We need Wiz.

Tyutin on the other hand has lost a step, and although he is still steady, I don't think anyone will trade for his contract. He is also a big part of the locker room. Don't want to mess with that too much

I still think Wiz would be a superb third line winger. Then again, I thought an Fedorov in the twilight of his career would be great on defense too.

So excited for the great things yet to come for our team. Definitely we will see Nationwide sold out much more often next season, which is going to be so much fun!

No shame in losing to that team, we got our feet wet and have even brighter days to look forward to with the leadership we have. Everything about this franchise, from Mr. John P McConnell down, just says "winner".

I could rabble on and on about Wisniewski and Comeau, but screw it, not tonight, not after this great of a series. Truly proud to be a Jackets fan, as Bob McElligott said on the postgame, "Next season starts tomorrow".

Really respect the Penguins as well, they are a worthy opponent, save for Joe Vitale. Hate to see kneeing in the game, there's really no place for it. Whatever kind of injury he has, he deserved it. Makes me sick to see that kind of play. Not trying to go out on a sour note, but that really got under my skin.

Nothing but pride for these guys!! There needs to be improvement, but no one expected us to win 1, let alone 2 of these games. The fact they brought it within 1 goal made it an amazing end of the season! Good job boys, nothing but pride for you!

wow. from a crap game to a helluva game. I kept thinking, the odds of overcoming a 4-0 deficit are tiny but the odds of scoring a goal in the final 4 minutes are decent- what to believe??

Columbus fans are the greatest.

The game:

All season I was high on Wiz and low JJ. These playoffs taught me a thing or two about that. JJ played great and Wiz really stunk the joint up. I'm in for seeing 21 next year but if we make the playoffs, he has GOT to play better. We need him being regular season Wiz. Defensive lapses ok, but stop being so hesitant to shoot the damn puck.

Still have to say, let's trade Cam if we can get s good return. He didn't give us much this series.

What a finish

It was so good to see Nationwide Arena and the city of Columbus be what I always thought it could be.

:handclap::handclap::handclap: That's what I'm thinking as well man. I have always told anyone that has dogged on the CBJ for years that all they need to do is WIN and that city will love not only the team but NHL playoff hockey.
