I might add that when we did get chances, there were lots of sweaty palms. I have NO CLUE how Dubi and I forgot who get on a 2 on 1, get right in the slot in the puck, then fail to shoot or complete a pass. that's where we just can't match the Pens, so the team has to have the gears turning every time.

Felt like a letdown overall. Zero pressure on Fleury. For all the whining Pens fans do - and man, they are first-class, entitled whiners - their D isn't that bad. Great? No. Bad? No. But then I think Fleury is better than they do also... although it's easy to be good when the other team can't put any shots on goal.

So many players had sub-par games. Wiz has been terrible, but has Anisimov done anything all series?

We looked like that was our third game in four nights.

Even though we scored a bunch of goals this year, I hate our offense. Hell, even on the 6 on 5 we had to dump it and forecheck. Is that a rule? Can't we ever skate or pass the puck in and start the offense from out front? Just one or two times a game?

Out played, classed, and reffed. the refs have been absolutely horrid this entire series. You can really see who the NHL wants to move on, can't have the golden boys out in round one.

Other than Bob and Savard I don't think anyone played well.

Start of game 6 is crucial, Pens will be smelling blood.

Either we are vastly under rated or the Pens are vastly over rated. I don't get it with how others think the Pens are Cup contenders. They have a lot of stars, but the Jackets have played even with them

That has me a bit concerned. They played like they were out of gas after the first. I hope they can get it going Monday night.

I agree, but to beat the Pens, especially in their building, you are going to have to beat them and the refs. That's just the way it is.

pens are vastly overrated, and are every year. 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, all embarrassing playoff exits.

I don't do predictions because I'm so often wrong, but I had a feeling this is the kind of game we'd have tonight. Tighter, well-played, evenly matched, with someone getting a 2-1 win. Bounces went the Pens way unfortunately.

Or you could argue the Jackets would have been better off falling behind 3-1 earlier...

How did we go 0-5 against them?

Long time reader, first time poster.

It seems like they let them push them around all year. Lose 5 games to a team at least give them a reason to respect your team physically. Philly does this to them and that really seems to throw them off their game.

I don't understand how there's no retaliation when they run the goaltender multiple times and then high stick him in the mask. It wouldn't be as frustrating to sit through if they didn't just stand around and let the Pens have their way with them physically(minus Dubi and Calvert).

I haven't given up; but that game was too easy by the Pens. It's that dreaded let down from an emotional game.

I don't really like our chances to win two in a row, but this team has been resilient all year.

Looked like the Penguins woke up and realized they needed to play a complete game for once! Jackets had some pushback, but after the first goal, didn't get the breaks this time. Easily Bob's best game. Just had a feeling he would stop everything they threw at him. Kept the team in the game. He'll need to play like that the rest of the series and look for better offensive support if the CBJ want to advance.

Its not a 3-1 lead, but Jackets will crank it up a notch at home on Monday. If Pittsburgh goes back to thinking this series is in the bag, then its on to game 7.

LETS GO JACKETS!
