I would not count them out. All it takes is winning back to backs and then you are right back in the thick of it.Detroit has won TWO games in regulation since February 1st, they are under .500 in their last 10 and have lost 4 in a row.
......I think they are done.

People called Montreal done and here they are, one point back. Nobody is done in this race except Buffalo and Pittsburgh.Detroit has won TWO games in regulation since February 1st, they are under .500 in their last 10 and have lost 4 in a row.

4-2 since the 4 nations break. Losses against two of the hottest teams in hockey. We're fine.Caps with a 4 goal third period to snipe the red wings in regulation.
Jets smashed the devils.
Now getting some help and we can’t win. Lol

Worst case scenario has happened. The game is going to overtime, and we’re out of a playoff spotRooting for regulation between Sens and Rangers (I’d probably lean more to Ottawa)
Agreed the three point game was exactly what we did not want but disagree we are "out of a playoff spot" right now. Based on Points Percentage which is important when teams have not played the same number of games, the Rangers are still behind us. Perfect example, Bruins are just two points behind us but we have three games at hand on them...in that instance who cares about points...it's points percentage.Worst case scenario has happened. While I would rather get the former CBJ legend Quick, I feel like we have struggled against him.Looked like Hamonic suffered a significant leg injury late in the game for Ottawa.
Also, Igor started in net for the Rangers today.....guessing he won't go back-to-back against Columbus tomorrow?
Not worried about the Bruins: two wild card spots and they are in seventh. The number of teams they need to jump is a herculean effort at this point, especially considering the sell off at the TDL. If they jump us, then we have bigger issues making the playoffs.Stupid Lightning gives up a crao goal to Boston and goes down 2-0 with 6:00 left.
I don’t put any stock in the points % tiebreaker because in the end every team will have the same number of games played, and they have the same”real” tiebreaker.Agreed the three point game was exactly what we did not want but disagree we are "out of a playoff spot" right now. I frankly prefer the points % to actual points because I think it's more accurate.I don’t put any stock in the points % tiebreaker because in the end every team will have the same number of games played, and they have the same”real” tiebreaker.
