Yeah, I was thinking of using Excel, but Google Sheets works pretty much the same and I don't have to worry about moving back and forth between my personal and work computer.Yup. It doesn't work with Excel either.
That's why I just started adding colors to the excel table and using snipping tool to crop-and-paste directly onto the site. Snipping tool is Windows feature that's activated by simultaneously pressing 'windows button + shift + s'. Then your screen or screens freezes. Afterwards, use your cursor to crop whatever it is you want to crop. After cropping, it automatically saves it and you can either directly paste it to the forum or tap on the pop-up window saying it's saved and alter it. You could also paste it in MS paint if you want to alter or add things to the sniped image. Then use sniping tool once again to put the final version you want to put on the forum.
The best thing about sniping tool is that it removes several steps of you saving it manually, finding a folder for it save it in, then going to the forum to upload it by finding it in the folder you saved it in, and wait for the process to be accepted or redo the whole thing again. I just snipe and paste. And if I see I needed to fix the table, then I delete the old sniped image and quickly snipe the newer image of the table in a matter of moments.
A negative part about sniping your table is you cannot use the forum's emoji's. You can still use Window's emoji's using the shortcut "windows button + . (period)". On excel, the image transfers as a simplified black and white version. Positive aspect is that it automatically fits in the cell instead of trying to resize the image or the cell. Or you can use the 'Icon Sets' in the 'Conditional Formatting' to use some basic, colored icons if using MS Excel. Maybe Google Sheets has similar functions or better? I'm not familiar with Google Sheets.
Welp, just wanted to give ya another option.
Might swap to snips next season, but I've got my fondness for the emojis.
