You will find zero Wild fans who agree with you on this.

I was coming in here to say Hodgson, but oh well.
I was so sure at the time that Brayden Schenn was going to be a star. Great U20 performance, goes PPG in the AHL in a short stint, puts up 12pts in 7 games in the AHL the next season...what the hell happened to the guy?
From Team USA, Jack Campbell and Jerry D'Amigo are the top two that come to mind.

Yeah, I think that the great shutdown dmen in the WJCs, and junior leagues in general, are often NHL busts. The great NHL shutdown dmen tend to be pretty dominant offensively at the junior level, then settle into a more defensive role in the NHL. If you're already settling into a defensive role at the junior level, you're probably just not talented enough to do much of anything in the NHL.Ryan Parent always sticks out to me too
I remember a Staal-Parent shutdown duo
Tokarski sticks out, mostly for this
Alot of Canadian goalies have had solid tournies but not gone on to good NHL careers
Angelo Esposito looked pretty good in the WJC.
