Kings should try to work on something with the Oilers. Puljujärvi demanded a trade, Nurse is not working there, Sekera and Russel have a high cap hit. Toffoli, Lewis, Campbell, Forbot, AMart, Ladue and Voynov rights should be considered.

I agree with this other than Nurse not working there. They love him there.

If there is an announcement that Voynov is a ufa on 7/1, that will be the final kick to the bag in this awful saga.

The whole thing didn't even get this far until the contract he did have ended, which would've been this summer. I very much doubt the Kings will be able to profit from Voynov. They already got to get out from the the contract or whatever legal thing they did years ago, so, that's likely the end of it.

Voynvo is not going to play for the kings again and I do not think any team trades for his rights. Too bad he f'd over the team but it is what it is at this point.

Brendan Leipsic :sarcasm: to soon

they can still negotiate with him, just may not makes sense to make a QO.

Calgary's GM has said they they are still keen on bringing back Lazar but did not qualify him. Treliving said it is because hte QO hit would be higher than he would get plus it gives the player arb rights.

Two of the oddest jerseys I've seen worn by fans: #29 Steven Finn and #2 Doug Zmolek, and they definitely weren't sweatshop knockoffs. There is no greater sign of dedication than a fan who spends money on a Zmolek or Finn Kings' sweater.

Thank You. You don't just get a Zmolek jersey off the rack.

It has proudly been worn to both Cup clinching games. Closest I could get to him getting his name on the Cup since my petition stalled out at one signature.

Who could ever forget the Erik Rasmussen top six era?

I've been in the same 27 team keeper league since 1999 and Rasmussen always brings a smile to my face. Circa late 2001, a guy was (poorly) trying to pitch me on giving up Paul Kariya for Robert Reichel and scraps. I wish I had taken a screenshot as he said "I can't believe I'm doing this, I'll include Erik Rasmussen too." I got a good laugh out of that one.

Rasmussen eventually ended up on the Devils. In one game, he was on the ice for a power play and I immediately yelled at my TV. Before I could even finish my insult, Rasmussen scored to shut me up. That was his 2nd career NHL PP goal, also his final one. So this day, my old roommate and I use Rasmussen's name as a term for whenever some scrub unexpectedly scores a PP goal.

I liked Finn but I dont have his jersey. 100% sure I'm the only owner of a Phillipe Boucher jersey.

Funny story. Prior to the Kings' season opener in 1999, their home debut at Staples Center, XTRA Sports radio was having a contest where they'd give away tickets to opening night along with an autographed, game issued authentic jersey.

I was one of the winners of the trivia contest, and had the option of picking from a Philippe Boucher jersey or a Stephane Fiset jersey. At the time Fiset was the Kings' starter and my best friend was a Fiset fan, so naturally I opted for him as opposed to the sparingly used Boucher.

At least the Fiset jersey made for a great wedding gift for my friend.

Had a great night at that 2-2 game against the Bruins. Felt weird not being at the forum.
